（吉隆坡27日讯）受高层首脑可能异动的消息冲击，银行股近期掀抛风，引起市场关注跌势何时见底，分析员认为，银行股估值仍未触及历来最低水平，投资者对银行首脑可能辞职的反应料属短暂，一旦局势明朗化后，股价将回升。

同时，若银行股估值继续走低，也将可能引发并购风，大型银行将伺机收购同行。

艾芬黄氏研究表示，大马银行股过去3个月命运逆转，股价大幅波动。3大巨头马来亚银行（MAYBANK,1155,主板金融组）、联昌集团（CIMB,1023,主板金融组）和大众银行（PBBANK,1295,主板金融组）上月面对最大股价调整。

马银行联昌负回酬

但以过去12个月表现来看，大众银行仍上涨12.4%，相比马银行和联昌集团都呈现负回酬，分别下跌6.3%和18.3%。

以股价对账面值而言，马银行已降至0.9倍（前期为1.3倍），联昌低至0.78倍（前期一倍）。

艾芬大华表示，虽然银行股价格下跌，但估值仍未抵达历来最低水平。

WASHINGTON (June 27): U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he will use a strengthened security review process to deal with threats from Chinese investments to acquire U.S. technologies, instead of imposing China-specific restrictions.

The Treasury Department has recommended that Trump use the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), whose authority would be enhanced by new legislation in Congress, to control transactions. The legislation expands the scope of deals reviewed by the interagency panel to effectively address national security concerns.

"I have concluded that such legislation will provide additional tools to combat the predatory investment practices that threaten our critical technology leadership, national security, and future economic prosperity," Trump said in a statement.

He added that upon final passage of the Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization Act, he will direct his administration "to implement it promptly and enforce it rigorously, with a view toward addressing the concerns regarding state-directed investment in critical technologies."

If Congress fails to pass the legislation quickly, Trump said he would direct the administration to implement new restrictions under executive authority that could be applied globally.

The technical chart created by the 50 & 150 day moving average already shown a death cross few day before which is a signal to run. It it better dun catch the falling knife as you never how low it will go. TM is the best example which drop from 6 to 4 , from 4 to 3 now.

maybank is the largest on the klci index ma....to support index, the simplest way it to support maybank loh......my opinion only la. Then comes the 2nd part where will the gomen walk the talk of rule of law and investigate all related to 1mdb without fear. Since our saudara LGE already wash so much of dirty linen on the street, i think he will do a deep cleaning once and for all. If u want be bad guy.....be 1 time only but not prolonged. Else u end up like jibby......drag the entire clan down.

i keep maybank stock for long term, as every year got at least 2 dividends. I first bought in 2013, which is 5 years ago at 10.12 then, bought a few times around 9+, last two years able to grab some at 8..and this year, enter at 9.6..avg at 9..wish to get around 8 again..monitoring..

can buy/invest or not is up to your aim/holding power/investment(buy) duration...what u want from Maybank?capital gain?/constant attractive dividen payout?there's no yes or no answer as there's are alot investment way nowadays.As we cannot predict what going to happening soon.As long as manage your capital/your risk well,then you will know the intrinsic value for each counter/company that u looking for.

I think the huge challenge for fundamental analysis is we have too little data to find out the right intrinsic value. We assume too much and listen too much to so call expert who create unrealitics intrinsic value.
