“Overall (with both the wet and dry seasons combined), we are expecting Don Sahong to reach an efficiency level of close to 90%, which is in accordance with our hydrology modelling,” says Yeow.
Our debt is around RM700 million and we have a cash flow per annum of RM400 million [from Don Sahong], so technically, we can be debt-free in the next couple of years,” says Yeow.
“The group [is also] in the midst of securing at least five solar power projects this year with an estimated electricity production yield of 15% to 17%. The projects will be under a net energy metering system,” the brokerage says.
One of the few companies (apart from glove) that will report bumper profits in the next few quarters. Most importantly it's still trading at much lower valuation compared to glove!
What is brewing with mfcb? On 20 July, .DS power plant achieved cumulative generation of 1 G KWH electricity .With an.average of US 7 sen per KWH, a simple mathematics will show.that mfcb Q2 electricity generated is 60 % more than Q1. MFCB Q1 eps is 13.59 s with DS revenue of 103 million, you can estimate the Increase in profit of Q 2 . An eps of 20s in Q2 is highly possible. This will give a yoy profit of mote than 300%.
Currenty water level is below average , almost same with dry season water level about (3 to 4m), anyone know how to calculate the utility rate if the water level are maintain to 3 to 4m only
@ chashao yes It is below LTA (long term average is not simple whole years average) but currently Pakse water level is currently at 3.44 meter vs around 0.8 meter during the dry season.
During 1st week June while pakse water level was around 1.8 meter, DS capacity factor was around 92%. Now Pakse water level is around 3.4 meter sure the capacity factor will be at high side of 90.
The performance still got a lot a lot of room if compare to glove company! Coming QR must be in growing trend before it achieve saturation of power supply!
Wasei! In earlier Feb 20, Mfcb worth Rm2.75b, whereby Supermax only worth ~Rm1.75b. But just in 6~7months already catch up Mfcb and now worth Rm27.5b, ten times higher value than Mfcb!!! Superb performance for Stanley! Unbelievable! Best CEO award should go to Stanley!
