Too early to say what will be the final outcome of NIIS. The problem in DNeX is that there isn't one real boss calling the shot.

1. INTRODUCTION
The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX” or the
“Company”) wishes to announce that Dagang Net Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (“DNT”), a whollyowned subsidiary of the Company had on 7 March 2024 entered into a Memorandum of

Dnex doesn't have the expertise to undertake the NIIS project, furthermore there's risk in completing the project as IRIS too had failed to execute it on schedule

The Chinese are focused on the switch from sweat labor to brain labor. From unskilled labor to skilled labor. China is focused on a technology rise because history has shown that that is how other countries escaped the middle income trap. This means investments in technology manufacturing and services. The investments in real estate are near zero. The fact of the matter is 90% of Chinese own a home and 80% are mortgage free.
20% of those homeowners own a second home or more. So, there is very little in growth except by the younger generation and that is getting smaller, causing a demographic shift to an aging society.

We have to accept the fact that the execitive chairman is going nowhere. We can only hope that he can receive handout from the government such as NIIS abd sub it to others to do. Do what he knows best.
