This exactly what happened in August pre quarter result announcement, sliding none stop. That time YTL decided to release 2 days earlier hoping to save the day but in the end the slide continue till today. Haizzzz

6 months back to back continuous price decline, as 1.90 did not hold, soon will see 1.60/1,50 area and if even this cannot hold then sub-1.00 will come very rapidly and thereafter will probabaly never recover over 1.00. It's a kaya butter toast from there as neither retail nor institutional will go near it even with a 10 foot pole.

For now the fear factor is influencing share price deterioration, not corporate capabilities or business models. The Management of this name would do well to keep the investing community, observers and the public regularly and timely informed as information is power and it would go a long way to help stem share price decline. Unfortunately, there is very little update from this name so the fear factor rules rather than corporate capabilities.

The group is making money, but i know Tan Sri himself know the value of his empire. Bad thing is, he doesnt care of the share price from the start. And in person he is all about profit base value only. Somewhat he cares more about the profit more than the shareprice.

Both YTLP & YTL price are very attractive now but when the MACC can clear their name? YTLP/YTL directors should take the most effective method to end this case. Otherwise, no big players/investment firms want to take this risk. If can't handle it, YTL/YTLP will suffer great loss, Malaysia economy will affected as well. If MACC find solid evidence, pls just bring it to court. If not, just clear the YTL/YTLP name. As KLCI index stocks, slow action(nanti nanti style) will damage Malaysia stock market and economy later. Hope the investigation result will come out soon.

For those who still believe in ytl it will not be best time to buy now until there is strong indicator the price have support level, or it will drop further without clear support level (see case of mrdiy drop rebound and drop recently)

Those who having loses it is best to cut when it drop 15-20% and put on waiting strategy. Share is not about price at time but total units you hold

If it drop further you can collect more later

If there is strong sign of rebound you can rejoin and still gain (We looking at % yield return)

Golden rule is 15-20% cut lost and on monitoring position. Only join back if strong sign of rebound

Cut lost at 15% you need 18% gain to recover

Cut lost at 20% you need 25% to recover

If you cut lost at 30% you need 43% gain to recover

So you the lower you cut lost the higher the gain needed to recover which put you on higher risk

Share will be there. It is just about timing to exit and reenter. If you stay now it is on gambling mode because there is no clear sign of lower support level for now. If you are investing the wait for strong rebound indicator first and you can rejoin it later
