Good sign. New telecommunication tower project declared by Menteri Abang Johari will benefit Scable in the near future. Hydropower plant in indonesia will start to produce rm5 - 6 millin per quarter will begin soon.

s at the end of April, Sarawak Cable’s order book for power and telecommunications cables had already exceeded the RM500mil mark, according to group managing director and chief executive officer Aaron Toh Chee Ching.

On power transmission line projects, Toh said Sarawak Cable had tendered for new contracts from Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) worth between RM300mil and RM400mil.SEB, which is Sarawak Cable’s second-largest shareholder, is expected to award the proposed contracts in the second half of the year.

Meanwhile, Sarawak Cable has been shortlisted to participate in tendering for the Pan Borneo Highway project‘s power relocation works, and supplying power cables for the highway work packages.
“We have bid for the power relocation works for the entire stretch of two work packages.
“The outcome of the bids is expected in the next two months,” Toh said.

today down bcoz of the t-3.
Toh said the revenue n profit will be increased started 2nd quarter onwards.
there is a lot of expense on 1st quarter 2017, due to hyropower station costing. However, hydropwer plant will start to contribute 5-7 million when it started to opertate. on that time, Scable price surely will shoot up high high! Go Go Go~
Start to accumulate before the news announced. Must be act faster and think faster than the news.

I believe this stock will go above 1.75. maybe historical high rm2.20 . As there are lots of mega projects announced by Sarawak government- 5000 telecommunications towers,pan Borneo, Lrt project lastesly announced by Sarawak ketua menteri.
With its competitive advance, I believe in near future the price surely will go higher n higher.
Now just wait the hydropower plant complete n contribute profit to the company. Cheers

Commodity prices timber rubber palm oil mining oil and gas all have to shoot up first then sarawak will blessed with abundant of income to splash around. But the game started already with palm oil price and next timber when constructions peaking up. If oil crosses firmly above 55 usd and beyond, another engine started for Sarawak. Not too longgggg......

KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak Cable Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Trenergy Infrastructure Sdn Bhd has received a Letter of Acceptance from Tenaga Nasional Bhd for the installation of the double circuit 500kV overhead transmission line from Alor Gajah to Bahau South (Melaka).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the project was valued at RM81.368mil.

The project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the Sarawak Cable Group for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2017 to Dec 31, 2019.

Sarawak Cable also announced its financial results. For its first quarter to March 31, 2017, the company’s net profit increased 8.35% to RM3.87mil on the back of a 30.9% drop in revenue to RM251.85mil. It said the better net profit was due to higher demand for the power and communications cable

該公司向馬證交所報備，獨資茲公司Trenergy基礎設施私人有限公司，收到來自國家能源的工程意向書（LOA），參與雙電路500千伏特（kv）輸電線路計劃。

砂拉越電纜相信，這項總值8137萬令吉工程，將正面貢獻公司2017至2019財年的盈利和淨資產。

Now is getting the project of double circuit 500kV overhead transmission line from Alor Gajah to Bahau South (Melaka). Next pan Borneo transmission line allocation. Communication tower in Sarawak and Lrt project. All the way up. Scale.

And the most important is hydropower plant will start generate income in 2-3 quarter. Less expenses n more income
