Same, remain hold on till completion deal next week, 16 Jan. Management have indicate that special dividend will be payout within 3 month from date of completion.

My estimation timeline for special dividend is it will declare after 2 week from date completion and the ex-date is 6 week later and payout dividend will take another 3 week. Therefore, the whole special dividend will be complete within 3 month from completion date on 16 Jan

1. Completion date of water asset disposal: 16 Jan
2. Declaration of special dividend: 3 Feb
3. Ex-date for special dividend: 18 Mar
4. Payout date for special dividend: 8 Apr

Agreed with hng33, just hold till completion of the deal and dividend.. within 3 months considered ok.. short term. Now people throw bcoz panic of the price and wanna try recover back the losses by jumping on other counters.

what puzzled me is that before EGM on 7th Jan, there is not much selling, instead ppl are buying up...but after the approval from shareholder on 7th Jan (which is good news), suddenly there are a lot of selling down...really weird.

Razali hold > 40% shares, price down will not benefit him. The Syabas deal is a MUST complete in order to keep the company growth, with new business modal.

Agree annchua said the price down is weird. And the selling volume is huge too,that not possible done by public small fish. Perhaps ”press down” for someone to collect?

Might if the company can not find any new investment after water assets disposal (Criteria 2)

Criteria for a listed company to be classified as a PN17 company are as follows:-

Shareholders’ fund is equal or less than 25% of the total issued and paid up capital of the listed company; or
1. Receivers and/or managers have been appointed to take control of at least 50% of the total assets employed of the listed company on a consolidated basis; or
2. Winding up of a subsidiary or associate company which makes up at least 50% of the total assets employed of the listed company on a consolidated basis; or
3.The auditors have expressed adverse or disclaimer opinion on the listed company’s latest audited accounts; or
4. For any default in payment, the listed company must announce its inability to provide a solvency declaration through Practice Note 1/2001 or PN1; or
5. The listed company has suspended or ceased all or a major part of its operations.

Buy rate at 75% despite weak market sentiment. Surge will be expected soon. By tomorrow probably roadblock at rm 2.85 will be cleared and will hit RM 3 before 16th January.

If the deal is completed by end of this week resulting in RM3.50 CASH per share.. you all know what to do, right? Ignore the prices which are being pushed down currently.. dont worry, the deal WILL go thru !!! (Its not like the Cimb/Rhbcap/Mbsb called-off merger).

I think its only fine details like what puncak can take back, how much debt owed by puncak can be waived (in the hoa/s&p, its said that puncak should be waived up to a maximum of 340 mln if I were not wrong). just have to wait a bit longer, hopefully within a month

relax everyone. the initial deadline is supposed to be 11 Jan 2015. they have missed it. i think the new date of 16 Jan 2015 announced by Tan Sri last week is still valid. they just have formally request for the postponement.
