guess its not that bad either, price has stabled around 2.6x, nobody has any clue what to come? My best guess. So, everyone just keep talking and frankly will result with anything, haha... Only way to know is when Puncak or government come out to speak

Singkualan---Whether it is Good Or Bad News, today share price has priced in the effects
on Monday. I have a 60/40 bet that News will be announced after 5:00PM today.
Actually I have sold all my Puncak Shares on 28 Jan b'cos RM1 dividend is approved and
no longer news. The next "new" News is actual date of dividend disbursement which could
be in late June. So right now I am playing other shares and hopefully come back to Puncak
If I don't jump into any Shit pits

............In our recent meeting, Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd noted that it is hopeful of wrapping up the water deal by Chinese New Year. Based on the report, we believe that there could be some delay in the completion of the water assets sale for Puncak, but it is unlikely to be dragged for too long or being altogether derailed.

- This is because under the Water Services Industry Act 2006 (WASIA), Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd (PAAB) is mandated to take over all the existing water assets from the state. After the transfer, state water operators will then lease the assets back from PAAB for operations and maintenance (O&M) of assets.

- The rationale for the water restructuring exercise is for the O&M licence holders to operate on an asset-light basis while capex will be entirely funded by the Federal government (via PAAB). Thus in our view, it is unlikely that the state government would intend to maintain ownership of assets given that the business model (under WASIA) would free up its balance sheet while ensuring cash flow contributions.

- Furthermore, the restructuring exercises that were concluded in other states previously saw PAAB taking over the entire water assets while the O&M licences are held by the respective state governments (see Exhibit 1).

- Our channel checks suggest that the delay for the completion of Puncak’s deal is due to time needed to fulfil conditions precedent in the sales & purchase agreement. We understand that the conditions are related to certain terms agreed between the Federal and state governments under the master agreement signed last year. Note that Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd had last month requested for an extension until next Monday (9 Feb) to meet these conditions..................

I think this AmeSecurities is one stupid analyst. Once Fed activate WASIA (which might not works
in Selangor). All Hell will break loose. PKR will counterattack with immediate Langat 2 stoppage
and land transfer. Then court case will follows And 5-10 years to settle

The board of directors of the Puncak Niaga Holdings Berhad proposed a special cash dividend of a minimum amount of MYR 1.00 per ordinary share of MYR 1.00 each in the company (excluding treasury shares) up to a maximum distribution amount of MYR 534.3 million only to reward the company's shareholders for their support of the company. The actual amount to be distributed as special dividend will be determined and announced at a later date by the board of directors of the company upon the passing of the special resolution and ordinary resolution of EGM to be held on January 7, 2015. The actual amount to be distributed will depend on the total number of shares of the company in issue as at the entitlement date to be fixed by the board of directors of the company.

Just wait for today announcement after 5pm it could either complete deal, or delay for another 3 week to ascertain ownership of the state assets – largely dams, pipes and infrastructure – with state and federal governments making rival claims over them.

Both state and Fed will take over water asset from Puncak first, then later settle the ownership separately later. These is because ultimate ownership water asset issue is nothing to do with concession holder which only operate and maintain these water asset. Therefore, takeover water asset from Puncak will complete first, then only both gov can settle ownership water asset later through additional clause, term and condition in leaseback agreement between state and fed gov later.

若真要加以分析，其实很简单。雪兰莪水务问题已经拖冗了5、6年，大家都想快快结束它。

其中最“强硬的”份子商峰竟然妥协，愿意以一个折扣的价钱“贱卖”，州政府还不快快签署合约？要知道州政府根本没有能力（？）偿还拖欠商峰的特许经营费，如今它不晓得看在什么东西份上，乖乖就范，还要横生枝节？万一协议告吹，下一次摊在圆桌上谈判的，可能是更高的价钱了。

而且，联邦政府愿意出钱，即是默许商业高峰脱售，焉有如此不识时务的大臣？

为反对而反对，为他人做嫁衣，难免落人口柄。何需猜测，本周自有分晓。
