I think you're mistaken. You know my perspective on the 17,000 govt employees and the quantified impact.

You know, PH has been in charge of Penang and Selangor for so long, but the government servants there is still so many.

Govt will not reduce salary or cut (beyond political appointees). Instead what they will do is create more work for them!

No government in the world have survived the next election after cutting the civil service.

i think PH would rather let tolls continue or remove subsidy than cut civil service.

with such excellent Q results, one would naturally expect this stock to rocket away, but what happened was it started at 1.39 (+6) n went downhill, ended at 1.32(-1) on relatively high vol of 2 m shares done,even with SBB of 280,000 shares.
Shouldnt this set off some alarm bells ? best wishes to those invested here..

Hey all. I'm quite interested in this stock. However, I can't seem to reason why has the stock price been declining (-23% YTD) whilst its operational stats has been improving considerably. The company appears to be in a much better position now as opposed to 3-5 years ago. Credit cost - 1.8% (vs. 6.1% FY14), NPL 4.1% (vs. 8.9% FY14), cost to income has been on a decline, ROAE high teens vs. single digits in previous years and good financing growth.

Furthermore, I don't think the 17,000 jobs axed would be a huge impact given the existing population size of civil servants. Additionally, high household debt although elevated remains well contained as reported by BNM.

I'm very confused, can any sifus care to shed some light on this?

Sometimes the market will just overlook it and give u the chance to buy a truly undervalue gem. What u need to do is to buy at the bottom and waits for the market to appreciate it true values. And u are lucky right now because the bottom has just formed and it look to test for the support, once the support been confirmed the stock will try to go up again to test it new height.

Today market reaction showed that my theory is correct! It going back on the uptrend movement! Today finally break the MA200 and if rcecap can stay strong above MA200 it will continue to go higher! Fail to do so will go back test the new support around 1.3!

To be honest, I have no idea why people spend their time on the prediction of support levels etc, if breakout happening or whatever TA people like to say these days.

Determine a range intrinsic value and buy if the discount is large enough. At most, study potential catalyst as well. Done, end of story. No need every day waste time look at the chart.

Actually don't bother, the more people believe in TA, the better. Ensures I always got opportunity to eat.

These are the people who will sell to me rm1 for 50 sen because "overbought".

And when price of rm1 drop to 30 sen, scream falling knife and sell more.

The when cross sma 50,100,200,300, strong positive momentum, cup and handle(like what kyy and otb said for gadang at rm1.5) and shooting star, will buy rm1 from me for rm2.

Don't want read also cannot, as this is my biggest position and i'm constantly adding, I have to keep track of my investment very closely and i got no choice but to come and read here every day in case got any interesting news.
