Yeah, operating profit probably range from RM100m to RM150m . The negative goodwill gain have to offset the additional admin and other expenses due to the acquisition

According to Hibiscus Petroleum, a negative goodwill of RM317.3mil was recognised upon the January 2022 completion of its acquisition of the entire equity interest in Fortuna International Petroleum Corporation (FIPC)

It said the newly acquired assets in FIPC group have boosted the group’s net production to about 20,000 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day.

Consequently, the group expects to deliver approximately 4.6MMboe of oil, condensate and gas from its producing assets for FY22.

Negative goodwill (NGW) refers to a "bargain purchase" amount of money paid when a company acquires another company or its assets. It's not a operating profit

See page 2. April May June quarter sold 2.076millions barrel. Assuming 100usd per barrel. = 200millions USD revenue. Convert to ringgit is 880millions revenue. Just hold and collect more heheh
