Those buyers r not compulsory to report to bursa coz their stakes r below 5% . Plus those day n contra players , newbies or long term players ..... It means insiders r disposing but all along there r buyers too , thus there were deals done to a tune of 200-450 millions per trading day. The price stabilizes means that there r plenty of support at these levels . Next or another week may see the turn around , hopefully.

The way you guys justify PNB's disposal is so odd, to raise money to pay dividend. PNB so poor one meh? Have to sell an investment that has not matured yet to pay dividend? Why don't they sell Maybank instead since the share price is so expensive already? Just be honest, if you are PNB, which one would you sell to raise money, Umwog or Maybank?
Maybank tak boleh jual la.. Nanti Malaysia index big drop, lagi mati kuat lo.. UMwog got very high % holding shares on hand... Jual murah sikit bagi semua orang cari kopi money.. Lagi boleh tolong bursa make big hot vol. in market.. U lagi tak tahu mer? Malaysia funds suka jual murah bagi orang cari kopi money Harga sudah tinggix2, Malaysia funds mesti tolong sapu lagi Tinggi U help me.. I help u.. samax2 happy.. samax2 cari wang.. hahaaaa
Oil companies plan their drilling programme based on a long term oil price assumption. It's a 20 to 30 years commitment. On contrary, shale producers can jump in immediately because they are onshore, many of them have already drilled the wells and is waiting for the right price to start the production.
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13 ― Bursa Malaysia is expected to trade higher next week driven by a stronger ringgit, firmer oil price, strong economic growth and better corporate earnings, a dealer said.
Affin Hwang Investment Bank Vice-President/Head of Retail Research, Datuk Dr Nazri Khan Adam Khan, said Malaysia’s fourth quarter gross domestic product growth was forecast at 5.5 per cent, surpassing 4.5 per cent in the same period 2016.
He said the solid economic growth was expected to prompt Bank Negara Malaysia to revise upwards the overnight policy rate in the first quarter of this year.
“Interest rate might go up in the first quarter because our economy is strong,” he told Bernama.
He said global crude oil benchmark, Brent, also hit above US$70 (RM278) per barrel, a level never been seen in three years and thus benefitting about 30 per cent companies in Bursa Malaysia either directly or indirectly with the oil and gas business.
