Market is slow to react. The oil price kept shooting up. UMWOG should be up anytime soon. I think they are waiting for contra players to finish selling before pushing it up. Buy and keep.

I have a feeling it will come...maybe after lunch. Big players should notice this Gem highly undervalued. With the recovery of the oil price, UMWOG will be revived to its golden glory. A former $4 stock now at $1. This is too good to be missed.

C5 exercise price is $1.30 and expiry Dec 2016
C4 exercise price is $1.02 and expiry Nov 2016
C3 exercise price is $1.07 and expiry Oct 2016

Currently price of UMWOG is near 1.00.
So basically UMWOG is much more attractive to bounce fast when mother move.
Also the volume for UMGOG-C4 is always more than the other 2.
I like more liquid stocks like UMGOG-C4...as any big jump in mother will see C4 following.
A big stock like UMWOG is like a big elephant. It move slowly...but it will move in big steps.
Buying warrants is like a leverage...it cost little but the movement will follow the mother very fast.
If mother UMWOG were to jump 20 sen, it is nothing. But UMWOG-C4 will also jump 20 sen.
Imagine the percentage!! Trust me. Buy and keep. Oil is moving very fast and Sep meeting will trigger the push as Saudi Arabia is proposing a production freeze. A major oil rally is coming. Buy early now at 5 sen and keep.

@thenewbee yes you are right. All worried about expiry. But within 1 or 2 months don't you think the price of oil will rise to $70 a barrel if Saudi Arabia proposal to freeze production came true? We are all betting for a rise in oil price. That is why we are buying. If you are negative then forget about making money even if the oil rebound you will be too slow to react. We are just one step ahead as we don't want to be rushing or chasing the stocks when it is at the peak. We are now buying at the support level of 5 sen. Hold tight.

Saudi arabia will only freeze oil production if iran joins, but until now iran still undecided yet and i believe high possibility that iran will not attend the meeting. IF let say the opec fail, everything will come down again, holding the mother share is ok. but if the warrant expired + the meeting fail. it will be a disaster. Correct me if i'm wrong. What makes u so confident that the production freeze will take place?

Price structure of crude oil shows that crude oil has bottomed, so regardless of the outcome of opec meeting, crude oil will still go up.
There will always be another catalyst, even if opec meeting failed, so don't worry about if the price will be diving again, the answer is unlikely.
But the question lingering around is if the warrant can expire in the money.
If uncertain and not comfortable with structured warrants, I think should just stick with the mother share, everyone got their freedom of choice, there is no right or wrong in every option, afterall everyone has a different risk appetite.

If you open the chart, you will know we are still at the lows. So we are not buying at the peak. We are buying from the bottom. So it is calculated risk. Anytime the rebound will come and you will be laughing to the bank because you bought at the lowest!

I think some contra players selling. If not comfortable just sell. Have a stop loss plan. Oil is going yoyo. Sometimes up but sometimes down. All depends on the sentiments. But it cannot be low forever. It depends on the World oil price which fluctuates daily.

The company seems to be financially distressed. Can't borrow from bank anymore???So borrow from Holding Co!!! Borrowings due in the next 12 months RM1.3B. If continue make losses in next 12 months how to repay?

You can think like an investor but don't cross the line ... things like how to repay debts, unless you really has experience in managing company debts. Is this the 1st time oil price drops? How long has UMW exist ... why many listed companies still exist despite many quarters of losses, then how they repay their debts ... so on, so on. If you expect quick money, look else where.

Unfortunately the oil price dropped without warning. I also bought 5 sen. Hopefully the price will rebound. Even the articles written by expert suggest UMWOG to rebound back above $1. Have faith. This is a good company. I will buy back UMWOG-C4 at 3 sen to average.

Oil prices jumped as much as 2 percent on Tuesday, reversing early losses, after Reuters reported that Iran was sending positive signals that it may support joint OPEC action to prop up the market.

Brent crude was up 87 cents, or 1.8 percent, at $50.03 a barrel by 11:02 a.m. EDT (1502 GMT). It had fallen 1.4 percent earlier to $48.48.

U.S. crude jumped 70 cents, or 1.4 percent, to $48.11.

Iran, the third-largest oil producer in the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, has been boosting output since the lifting of Western sanctions in January and refused in April to join an OPEC production freeze plan.

Though Iran has not officially announced whether it will join a new effort to curb production at a meeting of OPEC and other producers in September, Tehran appears to be more willing to reach an understanding on the matter, sources in OPEC and the oil industry told Reuters.
