IH 2021EPS is 2.71 sen . Full year 2021 should achieve about 6 sen. Assuming 100% payout, DY will be 9.7% based on today’s closing 62 sen . There will be greater excitement when asset monetisation gain traction.
In term of earning potential, Bplant is underperforming compared to peers. In term of dividend generosity and intrinsic value vis-a-vis its share price , Bplant is undervalued considerably.
Lembaga Tabung Haji considering taking TH Plantation private to take advantage of the good CPO price. Will Boustead Holdings or LTAT consider taking Boustead Plantation private for the same reason?

Without prejudice and based on certain quarters. $1.20 is the number game they are guessing whether market will support their proposal. This is almost 100% higher than the current traded price { at that point of time } Not a buy call but just plain guessing game
Let’s be realistic, Sabah land though it’s huge, it needs time to push the production yield up. Sale of Penang land will only be feasible if Sabah lands’ production able to cover for the gap post land sales. Thus, unless the offer is very attractive, I don’t think the management will consider land sales now, for sustainability sake. My 2 cents.
Bplant is going to show another solid quarterly report (Jul-Sept) & with average cpo price at about RM4.2K/ton, not surprised the NPAT may exceed RM50.0M for this quarter (Jul-Sept).
We have another month/Sept' to show the CPO production number & average CPO price..
Then, we have another quarter (Oct-Dec) which shall be another solid performance too.
Basing on the CPO production business strength, CPO price strength and lands' appreciation, the intrinsic value of Bplant should be RM2.00 & above.
Some asset monetize will take place soon and maximum amount of dividend will be paid to help solve the parent company's financial woes. When that happen , minority shareholders will benefit too.
Anything is possible under the new LTAT {Boustead} reinventing scheme. They tried to take Bstead private at 0.80 vs 1.86 NTA { a false start }. if the Board now tried to take BPlant private at 1.20 vs 2.00 + intristic value? BPlant pieces of estate land { Connemara & Balau estate } at Semenyih bordering { cyber jaya}. Northern peninsular estate's bordering Batu Kawan, TRP estate near fronting NSHighway? The monetized value???
To be fair Calvin sifu call on plantations is consider good;
1. Plantation valuation is still under price. 2. Plantations are generating huge operating positive cashflow 3. Plantation lands are good hedge against inflation mah! 4. There are limited supply plantation land available now 5. These companies pays reasonable good dividend mah! 6. The upside is high but the downside is low loh!

There is great pressure on the Indonesian government to extend the moratorium indefinitely due to environmental reason . Consequently, AVERAGE CPO price will stay much high in the future amid stagnant /lower supply and in face of global warming threatening production (of other oil crops too). Oil palm plantantion will fetch a lot more due to scarcity of land. Existing plantantion companies which generates huge amount of free cashflow can only expand thru brownfield acquisition. M&A activity and privatisation will heat up in this sector .
CASH Rich Plantations like IOI, Sime Darby , Genting Plantion, etc maybe "Prompted" to Secure Additional Plantation Lands. Small and Mid size plantations will be TARGETTED.
