Very positive upturn in their result. Expect another end year special dividend paid out. CPO average prices for 1st 8 months { Jan - Aug } app $4,130 per tonne. August CPO prices above $4,500+.

Buynsell888 : I am wrong partially. Their share capital is 1.4billion at the statement of financial position. I overlooked that it is actually at par value of RM0.50 instead of RM1.

IH 2021EPS is 2.71 sen . Full year 2021 should achieve about 6 sen. Assuming 100% payout, DY will be 9.7% based on today’s closing 62 sen . There will be greater excitement when asset monetisation gain traction.

In term of earning potential, Bplant is underperforming compared to peers. In term of dividend generosity and intrinsic value vis-a-vis its share price , Bplant is undervalued considerably.

Without prejudice and based on certain quarters. $1.20 is the number game they are guessing whether market will support their proposal. This is almost 100% higher than the current traded price { at that point of time } Not a buy call but just plain guessing game

Let’s be realistic, Sabah land though it’s huge, it needs time to push the production yield up. Sale of Penang land will only be feasible if Sabah lands’ production able to cover for the gap post land sales. Thus, unless the offer is very attractive, I don’t think the management will consider land sales now, for sustainability sake. My 2 cents.

Bplant is going to show another solid quarterly report (Jul-Sept) & with average cpo price at about RM4.2K/ton, not surprised the NPAT may exceed RM50.0M for this quarter (Jul-Sept).

We have another month/Sept' to show the CPO production number & average CPO price..

Then, we have another quarter (Oct-Dec) which shall be another solid performance too.

Basing on the CPO production business strength, CPO price strength and lands' appreciation, the intrinsic value of Bplant should be RM2.00 & above.

Keep buying for investment purpose as for me.

Some asset monetize will take place soon and maximum amount of dividend will be paid to help solve the parent company's financial woes. When that happen , minority shareholders will benefit too.

Anything is possible under the new LTAT {Boustead} reinventing scheme. They tried to take Bstead private at 0.80 vs 1.86 NTA { a false start }. if the Board now tried to take BPlant private at 1.20 vs 2.00 + intristic value? BPlant pieces of estate land { Connemara & Balau estate } at Semenyih bordering { cyber jaya}. Northern peninsular estate's bordering Batu Kawan, TRP estate near
fronting NSHighway? The monetized value???

To be fair Calvin sifu call on plantations is consider good;

1. Plantation valuation is still under price.
2. Plantations are generating huge operating positive cashflow
3. Plantation lands are good hedge against inflation mah!
4. There are limited supply plantation land available now
5. These companies pays reasonable good dividend mah!
6. The upside is high but the downside is low loh!

Alot of retailers has buy into plantation counters hoping the jump in CPO will translate into higher stock prices. Despite CPO good run for the past 2 years. Stock counters are at best lethargic and a far disappoinment compared to last year glove super bull run.

Yes buy what u understand loh!

Remember 2 of the world most richest & savvy investors w.buffet & bill gates like investing in farmland now mah!

U can emulate them now too mah....!!

Thats why the 2 richest savvy investors have taken note the point of concern that palmoil & commodity price cannot going up forever like the case of glove & eventually the commodity price will also fall 1 day mah!

To address this issue or concern w.buffet & bill gates, say buy farmland & palmoil plantation, even the commodity price fall, u still have great protection on the value of cheap plantation land & farmland mah..!

If u buy into cheap land, u have both margin of safety accorded by cheap land plus prospect of reaping great profit from high palmoil price loh!

Thus u should Quickly Buy into palmoil plantation now, b4 its price shoot up mah!

Time to be a little bit more contraian in view of mkt at reasonable high level mah!

Warren buffet says inflation is definitely coming in view of low interest interest and speculative sign such as bitcoin, rubbish stock price run up sky high and unrealistic stock valuation & expectation and now raw commodities price run up mah!

Bill Gates already bought alot of farmland at low in preparation & in anticipation for the coming armmagedoom coming mah!
Why would one the world tech best richest owner switch alot of his investment into farmland, this bcos farmland or value real estate if it is bought at reasonable low price, u cannot go wrong over longterm bcos the availability of land is limited, u cannot manufacture land like bitcoin mah!

Coming back to msia the equivalent to farmland is oil plantation, u still can get it real cheap & it is paying u reasonably good dividend loh...this is the best defensive & offensive play like bill gates and warren buffet had highlighted mah!


As calvin sifu said timber is at record price & palmoil at record price surely some optimism will spillover to plantation & timber share price mah!

But this up 1 to 2 sen is chicken feed mah, why up so little leh ??

Timber & palmoil share r suffering from lack of production mah and also huge impairment losses on its assets mah & previous falling share price mah!
Thus they are jittery on recovery of palmoil & timber share loh!! They want to see actual profit b4 jump in loh!!
That means if u base on profit...as indicator that means the share price will be lagging loh!

Malaysia has put a cap on land for oil palm to 6 mil ha (5,87 mil ha used as at 2020). Indonesia has implemented a 3 years moratorium on new planting. There is great pressure on the Indonesian government to extend the moratorium indefinitely due to environmental reason .
Consequently, AVERAGE CPO price will stay much high in the future amid stagnant /lower supply and in face of global warming threatening production (of other oil crops too). Oil palm plantantion will fetch a lot more due to scarcity of land.
Existing plantantion companies which generates huge amount of free cashflow can only expand thru brownfield acquisition.
M&A activity and privatisation will heat up in this sector .
