Nothing exciting about this counter. But the fact that it's "plantation". It's something to squirrel away in your portfolio. Buy and just let it stay there quietly. 1,000 hectares of land may be 'small' when compared to even the lower rung counters on the main board. Theirs is at least 50 times more. But just wait for the tide to raise all plantation ships. When the better-known counters start to be overpriced, investors and traders will start to consider the minnows like Matang.

It is possible. On early queueing session. He or she make an early queue and very luckily he or she get the due amount at low price after robbing by by the high price queue buyer. But not sure how true he or she said. But it is possible as I experience before.

0.04 EPS in last QR really put the PE at extreme high side among the plantation peers. Anyway, we bought it as we believe in MCA will goreng. If mca no goreng, we all pakat pakat punish them heavily in the next GE. Is your call ah tiong or ah lai, Fast fast show us you still can up !

There is no overvalued here. Just imagine u had put in 5k in 30-35 yrs ago n u can buy at least an acre of land then. Now the value of the land is valued at 80k . So , literally it has shot up 16* but in actual fact u r still holding the 5k then but its value has increaed in terms of no . Now the 5k will become more than 110k shares valued at 10c per share . It only come to around more than 13k the present market value. It thus grossly undervalued if u were to calculate the income u should derive from those investment from its inception until now. The word overtly valued will not be suitable for this 1000 hec or 2500 acre small plantation like Matang. The potential is here because the area is suitable for industrial n housing given its proximity to the growth centre n the high speed rail will b passing thru or around that area. Business opportunities r abound unless the people given the trust has exploited the abundant opportunities existed. It will b a futile effort for this IPO.
