More merger n acquisitions will b the answer for plantation stocks but this will need injection of cash via rights or paying by placement of shares approved by the board.

Plantation shares are not for goreng!I bought 1000 Matang share in the year nineteen eighties , Since then Matang had given 1 to 1bonus and 1to 14 for change of denomination. Sold all @Rm 0.13,after IPO. Now accumulate @Rm0.11 -0.115.

B4 listing , Matang still can pay 5c dividend , but now it seemed that the co is losing more money coz they r paying more for salaries n perks to all those directors appointed by MCA . Nothing left for the shareholders...... I think better throw when it is still 10c or else u may see goi g lower by the day.
