Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd, Malaysia's biggest plantation company, may raise as much as US$3.3 billion in an initial public offering, according to two people familiar with the sale, who declined to be named as the information is private.
The company will sell 2.19 billion shares in a share sale in Kuala Lumpur to fund acquisitions and expand, the company said in a draft prospectus posted on the Securities Commission website late yesterday. Izan Hussain, Felda's corporate communications head, couldn't immediately comment when contacted by Bloomberg by phone today. - Bloomberg
