Feeling sorry for those who cut loss when it was really down at RM3.30 level 2 days ago. That is life lah. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

2 days ago when the Dow was crashing it was written somewhere that Greatec is likely to sign supply contract(s) worth RM500 mil in 2022. This news must be real then, looking at how much the price has run up today.

Since the release of the qtr results the share price has dropped abt 11% which is not too bad when the other tech stocks also dropped that much. I believe many still believe the future of Greatec is still bright and many of its shareholders are still keeping the shares.

There is a possibility that that was done to " corner" weak holders and when the results turn out to be good they can easily make some quick and good profit. Haha! There can be many different tricks in the market place.

Only the steel hearted survive well in the market place.

The price is starting to move up again. You think the qtr results which are expected to be out tomorrow is gonna be good?

Hopefully by this Friday.

The Futures have catapulted again. Sure the tech stocks including Greatec will continue with the run tomorrow.

I believe they cannot let it run to fast and too much just before they announce the results ( someone said it is this evening) or else some people may be hauled up for insider trading.

Looks like it will close at least RM4.10 end of the day. Just a wild guess.

The MOU for the acquisition of 60% of the Irish company spell good things for Greatec. If the deal goes through we shld be able to see the contributions from the acquisition by 2nd qtr of next year.

Hopefully this is the start of Greatec's business expansion. I strongly believe Dato Tan will turn Greatec into a company like no others.

Greatec is one of the 7 Malaysian companies under the 2022 Forbes Asia's best under 1 billion category. Congrats to mgt of Greatec!!

Opportunists are bashing the prices down to buy them cheap. Qtr results coming out soon. The prices will rebound and they can make quick bucks out of it.
This is just my view.

Within 21 days in the 2nd month after the qtr closing ( based on previous records).

In the stock market a player cannot win all the time but you must make sure you win more often than you lose then only you are in business.

I have been investing in Greatec since Jan 2020. I paid RM2.70 for my first purchase and within 3 days it dropped to RM2.35 but it came back to my cost 2 days later. Haha!

Looking at the way Greatec shares are being bought up, I believe some big time fund managers are snapping them up. It looks like hitting RM5.00 anytime now is not much of a problem.

Many are laughing all the way to the bank today!!

Dow and Nasdaq Futures are up. Hopefully they stay green the whole night and our tech stocks will continue with the run tomorrow.

Trading at the high today at 3.79. Hehehe!

The remarkable recovery of the share price this morning seems to indicate something here: the qtr results will be out soon and are likely to be impressive.

This is just my personal view.

A bit of speculative work here may add some excitement to the counter. With the lockdown now over the cost of production is likely to go back to normal. With the expected increase in revenue in 2022 compared to 2021 by some 25%, the expected profit in 2022 is also expected to go up.

There is a fair chance that the EPS for 2022 will hit 15 cents. On the basis of 60X PE multiple, then the share price is likely to hit RM9 by early next year.

Even with a price of RM8, the company may offer a bonus issue of 1:1 like what it was done in January 2021.

History may repeat itself here in Greatec. Its good for Greatec as restructuring of this nature will definitely attract big time corporate investors to the company.

Having closely monitored the share price movements last few days and today I must say that I am impressed with the syndicate " managing" the counter. They have the strength to move the prices whichever direction they so desire. Its good to have them around as they make the counter both interesting and exciting.

2.5 million units done in 1st 2 hrs of trading today. This is a huge volume when It was 5 mil for the whole of yesterday.
I am trying to read in between the lines. The shares were bought up quite aggressively. What does that say when the results are due to be out soon? The people who have the " inside info" are telling us that the results will be good and that is the reason why they are buying up now.

This is not a SURE THING and i am only sharing my personal view. To some this is just rubbish. Everyone has his/her own view.

Our daily life is exciting when you allow your thoughts to run freely.

Hit RM4.00 already. Next target price RM4.60 by next week?

I am not at all surprised if it closes above RM3.90.today.

By buying the shares up to 3.87 and also pushing it down to buy the average cost to the syndicate is abt RM3.80. Assuming they want to make 20% profit, they are likely to push it up to RM4.60 to sell when the qtr results come out as early as next week.
Selling today may not be a very good idea.
This is just my simple thought.

Looks like the syndicate just woke up from sleep and the price will start to move soon.

The syndicate is now finding it difficult to push the share price down. Wow! Almost 5 mil shares done today.

With expected good 2nd qtr results, insiders are buying up Greatec shares now.

Syndicate trying hard to cap the price at 3.72 level and hope to collect more below that price. I am pretty sure they are aware that when the results are out next month the price will go up much higher.

There are not many weak holders now.

Haha! It is going up all the way. Aggressive buyers are out there to snap up Greatec shares.

If there is a competing buyer then the share price will move up faster.

It looks like the syndicate is trying to bash the price down but unfortunately there are not many weak holders. If they want to buy more then they have to buy upwards. Hehe!

I strongly feel it would have moved up quite significantly by the time the 3rd qtr results are out which is abt 3 months from now.

I tend to believe that the 2nd qtr results are much better than the the 1st and that explains why the insiders are buying up the shares now. It looks like it will move further up until the results are released. All the best, guys!

Hope Greatec price does not stop at RM3.48. It shld continue the run.....

I am not surprised if more broking houses are calling a buy on Greatec with raised TPs of maybe RM5.50 to RM6.00.
Relative to other tech stocks, Greatec is holding pretty well this morning.

Maybank's TP of RM5.25 is a much more sensible number.

If you strongly believe in the capability of the management, you will be well rewarded in the long term. Only speculators and gamblers are in for short-term profits.

Going by the contracts they have in hand, I somehow believe that hitting RM6 by the time the 3rd qtr results are out should not be a problem.

This is just my personal view.

The major shareholders selling at high prices and buying back at lower prices is nothing unusual. They are just like us and everyone else, buy low and sell high.

If the Greatec is expected to do better in 2022 compared to 2021, it makes sense for the major shareholders to buy back at lower prices like now.

I am pretty sure when the foreigners dumped the shares all the way down from RM6.50 to RM2.80 sometime in March 2022, the major shareholders must have been the main buyer.

It's time for investors to re-rate the glove sector. A PE2 for Comfort and most other glove counters does not make investment sense at all. I believe rational investors are willing to give a PE multiple of at least 10.

It is quite obvious that someone or a syndicate is bashing the price down to get it cheap knowing well that the price will jump when the next qtr results are out which is just slightly a month from now.

If Nasdaq does not tumble tonight then Greatec is likely to hit RM4 tomorrow. Keeping fingers crossed. Haha!

Greatec is likely to hit the RM4 level next couple of days. Many pessimists appeared to turn optimistic on this counter. Where has the guy who was waiting to buy at RM2.80 gone to?

I tend to agree with nicholas99. The buying this morning is pretty strong. Its obvious that it is moving upwards.

Greatec starting to fly again. Had an impressive start today. The results for 2nd qtr is expected to be much2 better than the 1st qtr. Turnover for 2022 is going to be much higher than 2021.

If you are a long term investor. Greatec is definitely a good bet. I have been in it since January 2020 and it is the best performing stock in my portfolio.

It nearly hit RM4 today. Sometimes life is tough. Come Tuesday , many will have to decide: either to pick some and risk losing money when there is profit-taking OR continue to sit out and wait for it to come back to RM3 which may mean high chance of non-participation for the rest of the year.

For those who are long term players and have confidence in the management of Greatec, you are now sitting comfortably and watching the investment grow.

Looks like those waiting to collect at RM3 have to wait for a massive downturn of the sector Greatec is in. It can be a long wait, maybe 11/2 to 2 years from now?

Looking at the way the shares were snapped up in the last 10 mins I doubt the price will go down to RM3.00. Those who waited down there are likely to have missed the boat. It did not touch RM4 today. Good chance it will tomorrow.

I am not at all surprised if it hits RM4 by the end of the day.

Looks like someone was pushing it down to buy it cheap but unfortunately there are buyers out there too.

Many people out there have the same feeling: Greatec is going to do well for the rest of the year.
