With the strong support for the counter from all of us, let us hope the major shareholders and the syndicates will lend their support and keep the prices reasonably high and make Comfort Gloves an "enviable" counter.

With this concerted effort there is no need to look at other glove counters.

The EPS for year just ended was 49 cents. I believe the EPS for y/e 31Jan 2022 is going to be around 62 cents. The current PE multiple for most of the glove counters is ( under current suppressed condition) is 4. A more reasonable and acceptable ( to many investors) PE multiple is 6. On this basis, the fair value of Comfort is RM3.72. This is purely my personal view.

With this valuation, there is room for all to make some handsome profits.

Expected good company performance, no incentives for short selling, hardly any weak holders, Company buying back its own shares and BOD are buying for themselves.

The list is comprehensive enough for fund managers to snap up Comfort shares at this level. I m a retired fund manager and i believe most of them think like me.

The vol done after 11/2 hrs is only 650k units. Very small volume. That shows that most of the weak holders are out and now the short sellers cannot force the prices down cos no more weak holders around to sell to them. Only knowleageable people are around i.e. you and me and we are not selling to them at this price.

There is one direction left for Comfort share price.... that is to go up.

The company and its BOD know what we do not know ( but we can speculate) i.e how much Comfort is going to make in this financial year and it must be record-breaking sum and for that simple reason they are starting to buy up the shares now. Even primary school children and make the right guess.

Short sellers are desperately covering their positions now before they get into deeper shit.
Its common sense that the company wants to sell at higher prices after buying at RM1.90 last few days.

If i remember correctly the dividend will be paid on 14th April.
The company bought back abt 2 million shares at price RM1.87 to RM1.94 between 1-5th April. So it is abt RM1.90 per share.

If i read it correctly, the number of short sellers in Comfort is drying up. They must have done their homework by now and accept the fact it is difficult to push the price further down because value seekers like us and many others will take it off from them at this price. It is suicidal for them to continue shorting at this level.

I noticed strong buying at RM1.90 level during the 1st 45 mins of trade. Its going to be tough to keep it red the whole day. What say you, steeliron?

btuscy is spot on here. This is money-making info that only skilful people can read and detect from the price trading pattern. Of course a player must understand the fundamentals of the company and read alot about the company. There are many factors that can prompt the syndicate to push up or push down the share prices.

5c0160 seems to give the impression that this counter is doomed and down and dead and will never come up again. Or he has lost his patience on this counter. Well, occasionally you will step on shits in the stock market and you need another skill set to turn your porfolio around. Feeling downtrodden does not help.

To me it is always exciting to be in the market and as long as i know why stock prices fall, i will still be pleased with myself and i can still have a good night sleep.

I think you have got the wrong place to promote your favourite counter. Here, the common interest is Comfort. Tell us more about Comfort and many will lend their ears.

With PE 3.83 Comfort is the "cheapest" and on that basis it shld rebound faster than the rest.

Short sellers are not likely to sell at these prices cos they are not likely to be able to buy back at lower prices.

To make money the only thing for the syndicate to do next is to push it up to sell. This shld happen anytime now.

Today is Good Friday and is another good Friday for holders of Comfort shares. It is green again but i can see there are still some short sellers and, as usual, moving against the traffic. But very soon they will disappear into the thin air. I don't think the syndicate has any problem bringing it to RM2.40 level in the near term.

So we have reasons to spend some of our winnings and celebrate this Easter weekend in a bigger way.

We are in this chat site to share our knowledge on investment and to learn from one another. I hope i am not asking too much if the contributor(s) can clearly explain the messages that he/she is trying to convey. If everyone can put in more effort in writing properly then we can have a more enjoyable and intelligent conversation.

To me making money in the market is not the only objective. Stock market activity is just my hobby and i get alot of excitement being in the market. The syndicate was determined to push it up in the dying minutes. Up 2 cents to close at RM1.89.
Hope this is an indication that it has turned and is on the uptrend.
Short sellers may wish to cover their positions asap before it goes much higher. 6 million done is a good indication that buyers are coming back to this counter.

The short sellers appear very desperate this morning. More fund managers are seeing the value of Comfort price. Short sellers are starting to have a tough time.

Comfort did relatively well today..only down 4 cents when market is down 37 points.

I m not surprised if the syndicate is starting to make a turn now.

Once it turns, it ls likely to go up to at least RM2.30 for a 25% return to the syndicate. That is attractive enough for them to put in some effort.

I think most of the weak holders have been squeezed out. The only way the syndicate can continue to make money is to push up the price to sell.
Looks like it is going to turn green soon. Hopefully today.

It is normal to win some and lose some. But make sure you win more than you lose or else you cannot hang around for long.

You will not panic if you know what you are buying and what you are in for.

This is a profitable exercise for the syndicate and they will move the share price from time to time, perhaps 4 or 5 times in a calendar year. If you are sharp enough you can make 10% to 20% each round and in a year you can make maybe 60% on your investment. That shld be attractive enough for you to hang around.

There is a syndicate playing this game too. They help to bring the prices down and collecting them at the same time. Once they are done with it, they will push it up to sell. The last round they brought it down to about RM1.85 and then pushed it up to abt RM2.35 to sell. They only took abt 3 days to push it up to sell. That is how they cari makan.

If the previous round is of any indication, they shld be pushing it up again anytime now. Maybe tomorrow?

They have to do it from time to time so that all other players like us will still get the thrill of holding the Comfort shares. This is how the syndicate keeps the counter alive.

Herd mentality governs the market. If you strongly believe in what you have bought and it makes fundamental sense and you have the holding power and have the patience, you will eventually be warded. If you believe in yourself there is nothing to worry about.

At current prices there are many buyers so the prices are well supported. Because they are well supported those short sellers are not likely to buy back at lower prices and as such they are likely to buy back at higher prices to cover their positions and making losses along the way.

As i mentioned earlier on that these short sellers are disappearing into thin air soon. They cannot " cari makan" anymore.

So Youngkid can consider averaging down before more people realise that Comfort share price is " dirt cheap".

I remember RM6.80 was the TP given by a local research house many moons ago and when JPM came out with TP of RM3.50 for Top Glove when all our local research houses have TP of around RM7.50 for Top Glove, most of the local research houses started to cut their TPs for all glove counters including Comfort. I see this as " lack of self-confidence" on the part of all those who wrote the research notes.

The TPs can be changed so easily like changing underwear and panties.

Some people think that PE 1 is still very high so they decided that it shld be reduced further by 75% and that is how he arrived at PE 0.25

I don't necessarily agree with this ridiculous PE 0.25. I am just trying to figure out the rationale behind that " out of this world" figure.

Many people cannot write to save themselves so they make themselves useful by " cutting pasting" what they believe to be useful. That is useful to lazy people like me who don't spend time searching for the info. Its fun in a community like this where we do what we are good at and share what we know so that , end of the day, everyone makes some money along the way.

I can see that there are still some small short sellers around. At these prices they are only likely to make some peanuts, even if they are successful.
