Q: 78% of revenue come from one customer. Is there any plan to diversify your customer base to reduce the risk of having one customer dominating your revenue
MD: We are looking at other customers diversify. There are few customers we are looking at right now.
MD: We are looking into the customer that we can learn n growth ( viable margin). E.g. we can simply go to wallmart but the margin is so thin and we will not learn anything.
MFund manager : does this mean magni is looking and going to high profile customers?
MD: Yes but we need right customer. E.g High profile brand who have big order is just 1k units which obviously doesnt scale.
How big of a impact of the major customer ( nike ) growth to your company? If their revenue or profit drop would it impact your company ?
MD: Nope.
Does magni have the negotiation power on the price ? As u mention u plan to pass the cost to customer ?
MD: We need to remain competitive ( so we need to be cautious ).
How big is Magni as a supplier to Nike?
MD: We are one of the biggest supplier to Nike.
How much (%) the labour cost toward the overall opersting cost ?
MD: We have both development cost n factory worker cost. We are looking into lean initiative to ensure we can reduce production waste.
Purchase of property , plant and rquipment ranged from 3 to 5.5 millions in 2016. Would that inline with your long term goal of cost control through automation n high performance sewing machines ?
In contrast with that, Magni invested 30 millions every year in investment security.
MD: Invest in cost control n automation doesnt mean spend money blindly. We want to ensure we spend money on the right area. Our investment in security are mainly on fund such as unit trust n FD (?) to ensure viable return n ROI. ( safe funding ? ).
Questions from others.
Are we expecting bonus issue next year?
MD: We have the ability to do (even now)( note:high reserve) that but we need to make sure it is a right decision. May be when we hit rm8 we will do that. ( jokingly positively)
Are we paying out more dividend this year?
MD: We paid 5% last year. We plan to give payout rate of no more than 40% this year. ( have been ard 30 to 35% last few years )
Chairman: Just trust us. Look at our past tracking record!

* We want stable business. It is not sustainable to have 100mil cash today and borrow 200mil tomorrow.
* we are very good in cash position and we have the ability to growth and sustain.
* we need to look into better ROI of business. Diversify is an area we are looking into but we also need to make sure it is sustainable and long term.

* Magni have new kain material which is thicker so has less dependent to seasonal factors.
