The reason why so many people kill the goose 4the golden egg is the absence of div. Therefore, I think one should have both growth & income stocks in portfolio in order to nurture the growth stocks as long as possible. Looking at unrealized paper gain surely excite us for a short period but definitely not for long.

However, GAB is branded (intangible asset). We can pay a premium price 4it. How much more we wan2 pay is a personal issue.

Lynch's PEG (PE / EPS growth rate)

= 19 / 11.7 (ave growth for the past 5yrs) = 1.15

PEG = 1 ; PE ratio even with growth rate
PEG > 1 ; EPS growth rate is too low to support high PE

They buy n sell like EPF. I was told tat they operate within a band width. Hit the top ceiling trigger sell. Likewise, hit the floor trigger buy. Of course the band will swift upward n downward according to market respond. So, those institutions selling is not a big issue. The main issue is this counter is inflated.

KinSoon Kok, I accumulated most of my BjToto shares when it drop sharply in 2002 due to intercompany loan issue, with an average bought price of around RM3. After that I sold around 16% of it when its price rose & hold the rest until now. So far I have received so much dividends & capital repayment that my net cost (total buy – total sell – total income) is negative years ago.

EPF disposed yesterday. Tats mean it's breakeven price up 2date could b 2.6x. As 4NTA, no annual report yet. NAPS = 3.37 according 2this site. Again, it's depends on how valuation is done. If NAPS = 3.37 why Ipo reference price 2.5x? Correct me if i m wrong.

5reasons why even a layman would b confident to buy IOIPG:

1.) enormous land bank (plantation lands tat have future potential 2b developed)
2.) solid financial back up (by IOICrop)
3.) tauke's credibility ( Tan Sri Lee)
4.) experience in related field
5.) traded bellow NTA

Kkng0819kk, the annual report mentions tat the depletion of value is due to not being able to sustain current rental rate. May b the property is poorly maintained coz the tenant SilverBird is a financially troubled co. They have another problem. Wisma Amanah Raya previously occupied by CIMB is vacant 4six months. If u think these r temporary 1time problem u can take this low entry price opportunity.

Another income stock to share wit u. Amanah Raya REIT now drop to 0.885. Very high div yeild.

EPF started buying on 16Jan. Tats mean EPF bought close at RM3 in the beginning then slowly decreases it's avg price in subsequent purchases. IOICrop share holders have been selling for 2months+. Those still holding r unlikely 2 sell cheap. As long as we buy at 2.5x - 2.6x we r damn safe. Wat do u thing, powerwk?

As I know EPF is trading actively in a few counters. It will take profit even a few cents rise and buy again when drop by a few cents. If u r interested to keep track, which I m not bother to do, u can refer to brusa announcement. They won't let u know the transaction price but base on the date of transaction u can roughly know.

If they continue buying share like this most probably we will get share div again.
