3iii was wrong in his calculation of net profit n deducted the fixed cost from gross profits which had already deducted from the revenue.
For instance:

Gross profits. 115
Less: administrative expenses. 40
Depreciation. 20.
Others. 30. (90)
Net profit. 25

You cannot deduct fixed cost from gross profit because you had already deducted from the revenue already to get gross profits.3iii did that which meant he double deducted which wrongly derived the net profit.
FYI,I am also an a/c lecturer.
