The degree Ms Jennifer currently holding is a 'package' of ACCA course. Usually after a student completed their fundemental level of ACCA, they will spend another 6 months to one year to complete a thesis and entitled for the OBU degree

Judging with her working experience, I believe she started as acc exec immediate after her SPM/STPM/Diploma and study ACCA on a part time basis.

I share your concern as well due to my personal experience:

When I was an auditor, i used to involved in a company, which its acc & finance team have similar background like Ms Jennifer, and my experience with them is not that ideal, so do their share price.

However, we shall also take note that PTRANS in a growing industry and it is pursuing 'internal growth' stratergy, while the company i audited is in a industry with fierce competition and pursuing a M&A growth stratergy.(i dont think it is a successful M&A anyway, although the team and BOD are quite optimistic, and I wonder whether the team have the ability to assess the acquired subsidary before M&A taken place)

Therefore, I will say the strength of Ms Jennifer is very familiar with PTRANS as she work there for quite a long time and get promoted step by step from acc exec to CFO, therefore sge may be able to design and implement a investing and finance stratergy which best suit the Co

Her weakness will be lack of exposure on how other companies work as she didn't work in any reputable acc/audit/advisory/consultancy firm before.(Trust me, experience in Big 4 or mid tier firm will really give u an different edge)
