Unless there is a charge sheet presented to KYY tomorrow, VS will rock because KYY probably is in the driver;s seat and you better not stand in his way.

'You (the informant) are quilty because I lost money'. This is the judgement of the sour grapes who put ripe grapes in their pants thinking they will not rot because someone says more grapes will grow instead. Moral of the story? Pick your own grapes to buy but eat them when ithey're ripe and buy more when it's delicious.

I think KYY and OTB must be secretly happy to have Beary, Earth and their many cohorts (BEC) shouting down the prices of VS as they accumulate back VS. Playing the true contrarians, they buy when the panic ones sell. As traders have already been flushed out, shareholders who are regretably influenced by BEC lose their chance to stay the course unless they buy back again but probably this time at a much higher price. And no thanks to BEC!

What KYY does is what you do. Buy low, sell high. Still buy after selling when prospect is promising. Looking for cheap and low prices? Why come to this counter? So many others with ridiculously low prices. Still waiting? Go fly kite. It starts low and can go higher for you as you want it.

KYY buys into the potential upside of VS after consolidating his portfolio over the past 5 months. At whatever prices he disposed his earlier stocks, his profit is still enormous. Margin withdrawals saved him interest cost which would be a huge sum considering his status. Buying back a same stock sold suggests his confidence of its prospect.

I wonder how Warren Buffett makes his money from those 'old' companies because he dislikes the 'new' tech stocks.

Money don't grow on trees. Its made, gained or borrowed. If borrowed, there is a dateline to pay the lender. Margin players are sored in this depressed market. Smart ones liquidates their pisition to hold cash. Then they relook their portfolios and start buying again.

Beary, Thank you for pointing my mistake. You corrected a fact here. Now you see, a fact is an undisputable truth and can never be challenged otherwise.

Fact 1: A substantial shareholder disposed his share by public announcement.
Fact 2. No drama to the price movement in period of disposal.
Fact 3. A fact is statement of indisputable truth.

Total no. of shares in VS -1.169 billion. KYY's disposal of 44.078m only amount to 0.0377% which had no significant changes to its stable price movement as proven. Hopefully without the KYY factor, investors will look into VS financial prospect and stay invested.

VS is not a counter for manipulation. It is managed by a capable management team who are highly rated by the company that entrusted them with the production of their products.

KLSE lost 21 points today but VS price remains stable. Sellers who are probably now yellers in this forum have been almostly flushed out. Waiting for dip to accumulate? Go for other counters because there are many that have fallen badly this past week. Why make a statement here when VS frustrates you all the time? So silly, really.

After the default of 1MDB news broke out, foreign funds have been net sellers the last three days with a total amount of RM449.8 millions. Blue chips are dropping like nine pins. Aren't they fundamentally stable? Why the slide? Mr. Market is an emo and irrational guy and is no respecter of logic. Logic comes when facts are on the table. Facts appear after events happened. So can anyone give logic to the past three days. Why blue chips are down badly and not VS? Based on some hoarse voices, shouldn't VS be at 1.00 by now?

Bought VS at 1.19 on March 11, 2016. Since then, It dipped lower 1 cent at 1.18 on March 14, 31 and April 4. The price has moved from 1.18 to 1.29. With KLSE shedding another 17 points, VS still held well. So to all the empty tin cans, you can make as much noise as you like but put a mirror in fromt of your face next time and give yourself a smile. Don't hate yourself to hate others.

In life there are winners and there are losers. The winner speaks words of encouragement. The loser is a discouraged person who tries unsuccessfully to get somebody to listen to him. The winner speaks little as he knows time is essence and an asset. The loser talks much so to have anybody to acknowledge his existence. Forum members can distinguish who is the winner and loser personality here. The winner knows life is no bed of roses but he smells the sweetness in everything he does. The loser only feels the bitterness and dwells in his own self pity
Today is a bad day for local sentiments because of the 1M ( one man) and 1MDB. The 22 points loss at the KLSE can be attributed to these factors. Nothing to do with the fundamentals.
A price drop does not mean a loss, likewise a price increase does not mean a gain. The most important is your seed money. Is it still intact or has it decrease in value or has it grown? The rule of 72 shows that if you are making a 7% return on your investment annually, your money will double in 10 years time. Be focus on your investment plan and what you want to achieve with your seed money. Time is essence and in due time your asset will show you are a winner.

A drop of 5 cents to some seems like the end of the world. At 1.22 VS has dropped 47 cents from 1.69. As commented by KYY, VS daily trading is very liquid so traders who want to exit need not fear of panic selling (unless another global meltfown happens). While sellers exit in this calm manner, buyers who sees VS potential prospects gladly absorb their exits. So those who wants to wait for the 1.00 buy, your comment has to be nastier. Otherwise you sound like a spoilt child who does not get what you want.

If tomorrow can pass 1.29 easily, I may review my short term TP of 1.32. Head I win, Tail also win. The price is ascending with sellers well absorbed which is a significany contrast from its previous rise where sellers (My 2centsense:local funds) ruled. Are they (local funds) kick starting their 2016 buy call? Its still low entry for them becoz their TP is not below 1.60. So don't wait because VS is going to be a favourite counter soon.

Before the 17th Dec, 2016,the US Fed Reserve held the world financial market on a short lease because it could not give a clear direction on its interest rate stand. When it priced in a 25bps interest rate rise, a global market meltdown followed. Now it seems, the FR is stepping back and are dovish at the prospect of another increase even for this year. Its time to kickstart the world's sluggish economy and Wall Street has led the way the last one week. US funds are heading out of US to the rest of the world. Consequently, the Dollar retreats and all others are cheering. Oil price is not even a factor here. The lesson? Its the FR that makes the call. So, if you are not in yet, its high time to think of the many low price that is ripe for the picking.

Afrer reaching a high of 1.69 on Dec 28, 2015, VS has been on the downtrend (a norm for all sectors too) with the lowest transacted price at 1.13 on Mar 3, 2016. In between these two high and low prices, contra players bled and small shareholders (depending on the price they paid) sweated. Cash is king here. As market is tight ramge for the coming sessions, those who need cash will sell out (thereafter hoping that it gets lower!). The key indicator will be local fund institutions reversing to become net buyers. At the moment, its not happening. Would VS want the price to be lowered so that the big funds can have it cheap? So let's guess at which price they are ready to defend?

Market paradox, a low price on a bullish trend and a high price on a bearish trend. Which is the lower price? I read many times when market was bullish, wise counsellors screaming their lungs out to buy stocks on a technical retreat; yet at those times the low prices of those stocks were much much higher than they were now. Now they are telling it can get lower!

I guess KYY knows much better of these than most of us. He's a proven winner (an outrageous one too). His advise on his earlier post was VS has dropped 30% from its peak price and its time to accumulate. VS directors were also accumulating on 15 & 16 th February before the SML annoucement. Perhaps they should have joined this forum and listened to the wise counsellors here and wait for the price to dip before they made their buy back.

Unless there is a collapse in the financial system, money aka stocks moves from one hand to the other at a predetermined price (buyer/seller price). The winner is the one who bought low and sell higher. The loser does the opposite. On March 16 on Bloomberg, Templeton Emerging Market Group Exec Chairman, Mark Mobius said he was optimistic emerging markets were at a turning point with a reversal in sight after the worst annual rout in four years. So they came and our local funds took the opportunity to offload knowing the KLSE index would hold firm. I guess most local funds managers must have big fat bonuses for a very good job done over the 2015 period. Are they flushed with funds? Are the stocks prices now at the value they would pick up? Sooner or later, they are coming back with a bang.

2016 is not a year for trading but a year to pick up bargain priced stocks. Well, if you think VS is going to get lower; great, wait for it. In the mean time, no need to pull down fellow forum members with "I tod you so" talk. You must have felt the brunt of such attack many times before too.

Market overall is weak because local fund institutions have been net sellers since beginning of this year. Foreign funds are net buyers snapping at good bargains from only established counters which is why our KLSE index is green. Unless there is amother 'bloodbath' in Wall Street, trading here will be in tight range. Most counters have already pulled back >30% from their earlier peak prices. The Qs to ask are; when will local funds beome net buyers. And if they do, will VS be in their radar? And if it is, will it be too late to buy? Critics do admit VS is fairly value at current price.

From high of 1.68 (Dec 28,2015) to a low of 1.15 (Feb 12, 2016), a -31.5% drop, VS going forward is a good buy for investors who see its future earnings. Those who see VS negatively for what it is cannot see VS for what it isn't. The main discussion in this forum is about price movement. No need to argue when the range is between 5 to -5 cents. Should there be a big dip in the price below this year current low of 1.15, then the naysayers can give themselves a pat on their backs. However, don't waste your time here.
