Everyone is solely responsible for their own investment decision. Even IB analysts also always has wrong or contradict TP. Although I don't agree with everything Choivo wrote in his article, but I appreciate sharing like that for giving me a different angle of analysis. If anyone just blindly follow any sifus buy/sell then share market is really not a suitable place for him.

@ChoivoCapital I did my fair share of study about POS and have been collecting since many months ago. Despite my TP being at RM5, I don't think next QR will have too big surprise for us. FY2021 will be very interesting.

@ChoivoCapital Thanks for the good sharing. I have 1 question though, what is your reason by using Q1-Q2 profit growth in prediction of Q2-Q3?

That's misleading. Supermax latest and strongest quarter profits closed to 400m. Maybank latest and weakest quarter (due to moratorium) profits at 940m. Pre-moratorium Maybank profit was at around 8b a year. You can't use EPS as comparison because Supermax has way lesser shares number compared to Maybank. Supermax is still very far from 'defeats Maybank's profit'.
Anyway this is off topic. This is POS section not Supermax nor Maybank.

@jamesng I think you misunderstood POS's statement. They said their original plan of turning profitable at the end of 2021 has expedited and bring forwarded 1 year. They think they'll breakeven by 3rd quarter 2020 and profit by 4th quarter 2020. The statement of 'turn profitable in financial year 2021' means 2021 whole year profitable not only turn profitable 7 quarters away from now. Btw according to last QR they already turned profitable in June.

They are on the right track to get back into sustainable profitability.

Expected result. POS already said this quarter would be in narrowed losses.
According to the QR, June 2020 was already in green, and the business recovery is good in multiple segments. Next QR onward will probably be in green.

he is spamming 'pn17' stuff in multiple counters, AA, GENM, POS etc. I'm guessing he want to collect these few counters?

@da4444 I meant to ask why only +16% cost with +59% revenue. What is the reasoning behind the improvement of profit margin.

@da4444 mind to share how did you get the +16% in postal cost?

I already have 100k units, and will still accumulate more if the price drops.

@wah168 your insider who said POS will fly this week until 'mama no recognize' is the same insider who said POS no money to pay salary?

Based on the news, 2Q loss will be narrowed, and full year breakeven might not be possible. It probably hint 2 things:
1. 2Q results will still be in red but less than 1Q losses
2. 3Q/4Q results will probably be in green but not able to cover 1Q + 2Q losses
It'll probably swing between 0.8-1.2 until near 3Q results. If we see increasing EPS pattern from 3Q onwards, it'll become the next glove counter.
Now is the best time to accumulate if you believe in this counter.

@da4444 highly possible but not this year I think. Their business is still more or less affected by Covid but new normal will benefit them greatly in the long run.

I plan to hold this for years until it raise back to at least RM4. Hope it can continue drop until at least loan moratorium over so I can keep accumulate at lower price.

I know a lot of retail bosses due to my company's business nature. They were forced to adopt delivery service since MCO but surprisingly their sales went up 2-3 times. This new norm is pushing people to adopt delivery service, both sellers and consumers.

Wanted to 'average up' a bit at 1.00 but Maybank didn't let me. Their system really a lot problems since MCO.

Pos could stand above 4 between end 2016 to mid 2018. I see no reason the valuation won't go back there with much stronger catalyst now in this new normal.
