Tencent, a unit controlled by billionaire Pony Ma Huateng, will expand its business scope in Malaysia.

To mark this occasion, the company will make a historic event in the country by signing an MoU with a Bursa Malaysia listed company, Patimas Bhd.

The MoU will be confined to a data centre business.

The signing on June 12, 2013 is related to equity partnership on the premise of housing a data centre in Malaysia.
