Meanwhile, Mudajaya Corporation Bhd said it has clinched a RM1.33 billion contract under the same highway project. It will undertake the works together with Musyati Sdn Bhd under a 70:30 JV.
Mudajaya said the contract is for the development and upgrading of the stretch of highway from the Sungai Kua Bridge to Sungai Arip Bridge.
The contract is targeted to be fully completed by October 2020 with a construction period of 48 months from the date of the site possession, the filing read.

This quarter had a lower timber production February month due to CNY holiday. Also, report mentioned that Melbourne project is scheduled to complete end of the year which will definitely further enhance both its revenue and profits in FYP 2017 as development in Melbourne can only be locked in after completion! Overall, I'm happy with FJ performance this quarter!

Q3 result as expected, which is better compared to Q3 15 but lower compared with Q2 16. PE ratio has improved a lot and I believe FJ in coming quarters will deliver much better result as timber business continue generating good profit based on the timber production released is said to be about 20k cubic meter.

I think this quarter result will be good, at least higher compared Q to Q. but may not be higher than the previous quarter due to the number of logs was lower compared with the previous quarter.
Well, hopefully revenues and profits from other segments could help to push up those figures.
Having said so, I am positive for fajar future earning especially with PE will be improved as earning should be increasing.

azfar8, i think still not too late to buy tomorrow judging from the price movement and the growing volume momentum. Hopefully fj can secure the BIG project and make the announcement soon ! even without the big project, the share price should be at least 80 cents with the revenue from the existing secured contracts and timber to be captured into this FYP 16.

Agreed with azfar8, very strong support at level 55 cents. Today closing at 595 very important , even though KLCI softens together with regional markets and with some selling pressure due to yesterday rally, yet fj remains firm at this price. Good indication for price moving uptrend.

correction. Aus project is 80% sold. so it's a confirmed profitable project.

also, the report did mentioned Australia property is already 80% completion. which means in few months time, they should be able to claim the money from the banks and recognise the profit into their balance sheet.

lcng123, yes. agreed! the profitability of the company has increased tremendously for the last 2 Quarters. with the logging business foresee to continue contribute significantly into their profit for the next 5 years. which is very healthy for an investor point of view.
I am very happy to be holding on to it till now =)
