Someone panicked? It appears to me the POSSIBLE buy back announcement at 1.55 per share may be a stop gap possible dodge to prevent a possible price free fall which will truly damaging the already badly damaged credibility.

I believe BPlant will remain listed as it is now. No sale. No privatisation. It has a long history, too historical to has it deleted. LTAT and Boustead Holdings already relieved on raising funds for debts due and no longer need to sell BPlant. Gomen extending funds to help may not necessary translate to bailing out Boustead Holdings.

Keep an open mind. Hold onto the shares like nothing has happened. God willing, more land will be monetize and dividends will continue the same like before. 😁

All is not lost. A relook at the deal will tell us the value of BPlant share is no lesser then RM1.55 per share, higher than its declared NTA of 1.28.

How sure are you they may not do a Boustead Holdings 2.0? Sell down the share price. Take it private. Strip and monetize. After all they are given a breather. The Gomen will give them another 2 billion to settle due debts.

What a coincidence! PM announced 300m for LTAT. Deal cancelled and LTAT to give back 230m deposit money within 2 weeks time. 😁

Can any people with legal knowledge enlighten shareholders if they may collectively take this matter to court.

LTAT and Boustead collectively owned 67% of BPlant shares. Reported KLK already acquired 36% of BPlant shares. From where did the additional 3 % came? Let alone the unaccounted shareholding spread among the public.

Completion of privatization, LTAT and Boustead will own 51% and KLK 49%. As we are all aware, there are less restrictions to restructure being a private entity. For many of us who have had a romanticism with BPlant, don't despair. They will certainly "relist" it in the near future and "unlock value" the company after some surgical reconstruction. Plenty of money to be made to "unlocking value" After all BPlant has a pedigree dating back to more than a hundred years.

Fund charges fixed management fees. Fund managers draw obscene salaries and perks. They have access to briefings and "inside information". Do they take responsibility when a Fund failed?

Some sites reported intrinsic value at 1.02. Average peer PE 18.2. Therefore Price = 6.64 * 18.2 = 120.8 sen.

AmInvest in Feb '23 said fair value 3.20. HLInvest reported in December 22, neutral at 3.00.

IPO price 1.35 is 36x adjusted profits for 2021. Peer PE 25. Earnings 2.68 sen. Therefore 2.68 * 25 = 67 sen. NTA is 34 sen. So how?
