If suspension was due to AAC deal, there probably would have been more speculation in the morning.

AA asked for suspension in the afternoon pending material announcement. Hmm. AAC deal which TF said was imminent? Interesting.

Headline numbers look terrible! No wonder the strong resistance at 3.30 recently. Maybe there will be some knee jerk selling on opening in the afternoon.

Everyone entitled to their opinion on AAX. My view is its 2Q17 numbers looks reasonable. Hope that will help sentiment on AA tomorrow but AA really needs a much better number or news on the AAC deal to get its price higher.

Yesterday's Fed statement on QE and inflation as well as recent news on healthcare and tax reforms in US Congress, including latest developments this morning are noteworthy for the tactical investors. On AA, hoping for a flow of positive news in coming weeks. No crystal ball and can be wrong but I would continue to buy back AA to fully invested levels (eg 90% - 95%) again.

The Fed kept rates unchanged last night as expected but tactical investors should pay attention to details of the Fed policy statement. Also, the stalled healthcare bill in US senate is also noteworthy. On AA, big picture continues to warn that the AAC deal can easily be delayed and should not be over-promoted short term. Longer term still good, No crystal ball but I would raise exposure in AA back to 75% after recent price weakness. Keep eye on big picture and Happy Investing! Hehe

The recent bounce looks quite healthy. Recent big picture developments have also been positive but its longer term outlook remains uncertain. No crystal ball but will be keeping equity exposure at 50%. Still believe upside will be capped unless there is news on the AAC deal.

Note Yellen's testimony to Congress overnight. AA oversold and today would be a good day for a technical rebound. But unless got news on the long awaited AAC deal, upside may be limited. No crystal ball and can be wrong but I would continue to be about 50% invested in AA only for now until big picture is clearer.

No crystal ball and i could be wrong but I would keep equity exposure at about 50% or less for now. Need positive new on AAC deal to change direction of AA short term, otherwise buyers likely to remain cautious for now.

AA closing flat. Negative price action. No crystal ball but short term might be good idea to take some profit, to do some money management. I suspect at most be 70% invested in this type of market.
