@bang_miskin, I entered due to Delta variant too but I entered slightly later than you at RM7. But only bought a small position just to try my luck. Didn't expect the wave of negative news after that. Don't think I have time to monitor the price all the time. Probably just buy in more when the price is good.

Actually the safest strategy is to average up by stages. If I have to luxury of time to monitor the stock all the time, I may opt for averaging up instead of averaging down. But for convenience sake, I choose to average down instead.

JPM target price at RM4 came out for some time now. I think most of those shocked by the news already sold their tickets. Probably downside is limited now. Just my assumption.

I think it's challenging for Airasia even to return to it's pre-covid performance. Budget carrier such as Airasia was the first choice for company's business travel as company usually choose the cheapest available options. As most of the meetings are conducted through online and minimal business travel is needed, which will be the new norm even post-covid, budget carrier such as Airasia may become less relevant. When it comes to holiday, Airasia usually is the last option because most may opt for better quality airlines.

I thought more flights are allowed to operate. Still lose at such magnitude?

@Mini2021, actually Bursa is a very small market compare to US. It also means that the opportunity we can get quality company is more. That's why we don't see Warren Buffett invest his money here. However, as a Malaysian I think we still have to support our market here. Anyway, there are some disadvantages to invest in other market too. If I'm not mistaken US impose high tax for dividend.

@Stocksafeplayer, you have to understand human psychology. Normally human being are attracted to extreme character. Will only stand out if either we are extremely clever or extremely stupxd. Only can be ordinary person if we are in-between. That's why many of them choose the later.

@Mini2021, actually there are plenty of good quality and growing stocks in US market. Politically more stable than our country. Can have a look seriously.

Its even better to diversify our investment in other market as well. I'm exploring US market.

Not to worry so much. Just make it as if we keep our money in a long term FD in Harta Bank. It will take some time for the money to mature.

@Anxious, one thing that I have learned from investing in stock market is not to really fully believe in the news and analysis done by analyst. Just believe in official facts and figures. So far I couldn't see Harta profit is lower than pre-covid level even though they claim that the ASP has dropped by so much.

@Anxious. Be patient. As long as you are using own money to invest should be fine. Just have to give it more time as Harta is still a growing company.

I don't work for the glove industry. But did you guys ever asked why the so called activist only accuse those profitable industries such as gloves and plantations? Why not attack smaller industries which have even poorer standards than those large companies? Do you really think the activist really fight for the rights of foreign workers? Things are not as straight forward. Many evil minded people out there.

I do not really hope the price go up due to Covid or any pandemic anymore as it will do more harm than good to the overall market. However, gloves is an uptrend industry even before Covid. I only hold on due to this believe. I believe Malaysia glove companies are much more matured, efficient and well managed than the one in China. Are we really China has no issue with forced labour? Probably one day Andy Hall may visit China too?
