Many said bye bye to Oldtown at that price. Waiting for MGO offer letter and cash into our bank accounts are worrying matters.

The only good thing is Bursa Securities has approved the new list of directors. Other than that, the next good thing is today UMW unexpectedly closed at 4.82.

Everyday the annnoucements are massive purchase volume by Sime and EPF. Still nothing related to Bursa Securities.

Everyday there is a road block at around 4.75, 4.76, 4.77. EPF block at these prices for them to acquire. Everyday annouce huge purchase from EPF. Everyday also announce huge purchase by Sime Darby. But there is no further announcement for the progress on the takeover related to Bursa Securities.

9 Oct 2023 : Stay steady at 4.73. No interest for both bulls nor bears. Still got 28 days more for EGM on 16 Nov 2023.

Everyday keeps on dropping as if the acquisition of UMW is going to fail.

soon93 hope for a final dividend before in Nov 2023 quarter results. If it is true, shareholders will be fortunate. If no dividend is given, I am thinking of buying UMW-C45.

Sime Darby acquiring UMW got give time frame. Acquisition by Q4 2023 and MGO by Q1 2024.
Application to replace directors from PNB with new directors has been forwarded by CIMB (representing Sime Darby) to Bursa Securities for approval. EGM is on 16 Nov 2023 to get shareholders approval for the takeovet of UMW.

This is a flip flop government. What happen to MRT3? YTL submitted the lowest bid. What happen to HSR? YTL is the favourite winner? And today, say BPLANT cancel the taker over by KLK but the MGO of RM1.55 still continues.

KLK has bought si many Bplant shares and now KLK will take this opportunity to sell.

I don't want to tempted by LTAT. All my cash is in UMW. The process of takeover by Sime has started and is moving.

On behalf of the Board, RHB Investment Bank wishes to announce that the Company has been informed that the Condition Precedent under the SCA will not be satisfied by the Cut-Off Date of 6 October 2023 and accordingly, the parties to the SCA have agreed not to proceed with the Proposed Strategic Collaboration.

As long as the UMW acquisition does not fail, its daily fluctuation can be ignored. At this moment, the Bplant_KLK takeover still pending and both Bplant & KLK already suspended for two consecutive days.

Today limit down price is 0.7 × 1.46 = 1.0. I cut off at 1.43.

KLK taking over BPLANT called off. SIME taking over UMW hope will not called off.

I really hope Sime taking UMW will not fail like Bplant.
