@ FortuneBlooming: I bought at 72 sen yesterday. I have the same thought as you. The price of JCY will move sideway even if the 3rd quarter result is good because the market have priced in. Seeing Notion making a U turn, to be on the safe side, I sold at 74 sen. Then, I transfer the fund to Dufu-CU at 17 sen. Dufu is a laggard.

Today lowest price is 67.5 sen. Eagle77 said will go down to between 60 sen - 65 sen. OK. I will queue at that range of price.

So, Notion gives back all its gains last Friday at T + 2. Tomorrow forced selling at T + 3 (including margin players).

The unstable politics are causing havoc to the whole country. Just follow hng33 to buy back 60 × 100 shares at 0.725. Now below 0.70. Got to wait for the by-election DUN Sg Bakap results. If the unity goverment lost, then more havoc.

The AFFIN warrant matrix is to see the price of DUFU-CU against the price of the mother share. Usually DUFU-WU will move one bid when the mother share moves 2 sen.

Dufu is quite expensive. DUFU-CU is an alternative cheaper at RM0.175. But bear in mind that there is time decay of structured call-warrants with a drop in value of RM0.0003 per day including Sat and Sun and public holidays. You must print out the warrant matrix from AFFIN Warrant Matrix (search by GOOGLE).

Tomorrow all eyes will be on AIRPORT. If it convincingly in green, then can buy DUFU mother share or DUFU-CU.

Thus, Western Digital, Seagate and Toshiba need to import more HDD and SSD components from Malaysia and also manufacturals from other countries. Hence, the 3rd and 4th quarter results will improve for all JCY, Notion and Dufu. Our country data centers will have to import the whole assembled HDD and SSD from WE, Seagate or Toshiba.

@investor77:: Last time, I have a thought which is similar to your thought. I thought all the data centers in Malaysia will buy the HHD and SSD from JCY, Dufu or Notion. But now I know that what we are thinking is wrong. JCY, Dufu and Notion only produce components (or spare parts in other words). These components are to be exported to Western Digital (WD), Seagate or Toshiba. WD, Segate and Toshiba will assemble the components (or spare parts) to become a complete unit of a HDD and SSD. Then, our country data centers will import the whole complete units of HHD and SSD from WD, Seagate or Toshiba.

I have sold all my JCY shares bought at 77.5 sen last Friday. Today manage to sell at 83.5 sen at 9.00.am.

In a bad market sentiment due to the issue of MAHB and BlackRock goreng by the oppositions, good share will also plunge.

As far as I know, JCY only exports HHD & SSD componets to Seagate and Western Digital. They are the ones that will assemble a complete set of HHD and SSD. Then, Malaysia Data Centers got to import from them.

There is a reason why JCY drop last few days ago, too many retailer fear & run away of dropping, take profit, sell at 0.77 to 0.82 range. But if you observe the buying selling trend, there are big volume buyer are collecting at 0.79 to 0.81 now, eating most of all smaller fish retailer. Eventually it will back push higher to 0.90 again, then stable for a while & push up to 1.00.

I'm not crystal fortune teller, but I do practice fundamental, technical analysis + momentum sentiment movement to determine if to buy, hold or sell. I might be wrong, but at least so far Notion and JCY do run as it seems as long as big macro sector, theme play of AI / DC still intact & continue to be big massive run especially by mid/end 2H'24 as I see now.

@necessity: 36.36M net profit for 3rd quarter [forcasted by kkwong13] [OTB needs to see the proof]. 60.more days. If not achieved, I will.sell all. If achieved, then everyone is happy.

@Jepun: JCY already corrected from 0.93 to 0.755. Now technical rebound. I don't think it is a dead cat bounce.

After reaching 0.875, the bulls let go. The bears are back and sold it down to 0.845. Still need another 5 sen to reach the all time high closing price of 0.895. 0.93 still far-far away. It needs to be justified by a good 3rd quarter result.
