Interestingly, one oil analyst stated that OPEC could have 2 options: try to ramp up oil price by continuing to extend output cuts..a move that will continue to benefit the US as they'll make better profits than OPEC....or let the deal lapse and let the oil price sink to US$40, the break even for US shale producers..hmmm interesting to see their final decision during next decision deadline.

@Gamer Dan's...you're right..U.S shale will put traditional oil producers under pressure to extend their output cut..And continue to put the pressure on oil price.till next year at least.

Dear probability... what is the minimum price to maintain profitability? How long can crude oil remain this low? So future not as rosy since crude oil will eventually return to the highs of US$60 to US$80 or it is still profitable? Please offer your insight.

I think it's time the forum administrator should watch irresponsible comments urging investors to buy or sell...it's one thing to guess and wish but it's another to try manipulate people into making decisions...hopefully it's not because of selfish reasons..

Take Vitrox for example...when it reached RM6.00, many would have perceived it to be high after notching massive gains ..but it has crossed RM7.00 now.

Nobody can point accurately where and when the price will be...it's all guessing and wishing...interested investors should make your own judgement and decision...low could be high and high could be low.

Some are targeting 0.60. Some targeting 0.71. Some targeting above RM2.. but all singing the same tune...go DNEX go go go.

I feel July is more likely to see 0.71 tp....but any pleasant surprise is welcome of course.

If a good QR and rising oil price late May didn't trigger a rally... and if a pending announcement(if any) can...then DNEX has gone crazy.

The higher the expectation, the bigger the disappointment. U want a rally, it retreats...u not expecting a rally, it shoots up. Maybe reverse psychology will help... won't hurt if it doesn't goes up...if it springs us a surprise, it's a pleasant and welcome one. So.... probably no show tomorrow la.

So the big news has yet to be released? If Dnex requests for suspension, that'll be exciting! Chances are it'll normally open few notches higher..

This rally will hopefully regain what Dnex's share price should fairly reflect...ie 0.69 and above.

If anyone who thinks they have seen the best of Dnex at 0.63 then sell on Monday...but the wiser ones will keep and wait for better returns... sometimes, traders will find reasons to drive the price down to stimulate trading activities...for example, selling on oil glut happens very often but it's nothing new.
