buy and sell...share market is about buy and sell....have to buy first before can sell.

buy high was not the problem because I could have sold when it was higher. The real problem was same as KYY who bought lower....I did not sell at the height.

For investors....no free lunch.

Ringgit is more or less pegged to the yuan......the only risk to the ringgit this year is only down.........so.......sleep well and stop worrying. The only game in town for 2016 is still export stocks.

I have not come across a 60 years old who play contra like a 23 years old young ciku.

The promoter are trying very hard to get a deal done so they can enjoy director benefits beyond April.....


But alas.....it is a hopeless cause for them.

You must understand that the promoter shares were issued at 1 sen each.

I intend to buy and sell within my portfolio. Period.


I also don't intend to withdraw any money or to put in any more money for the time being.

I operate a dollar for dollar internet account. The word contra has no meaning to me.

I do not sell some thing at 1.80 hoping to buy back at 1.50 or scared it will go to 1.50..... That is the habit of losers.

If I sell some thing at 1.80, I no see until and unless it goes to 1.00.


I think KYY will agree with me.

Successful people...KYY and I thinks alike, I believe.

A failed 83 years old is unpredictable.
A successful 83 years old like behave like a 83 .

Anyway....since coming here, I have found nothing to complain....I consider KYY a better more successful version of myself.

Diversification is the only free lunch in town....but the downside is...too much diversification means one will never be as rich as KYY when 83.

JHM is a proton supplier....call their purchasing department.

I believe in the integrity of 83 years old man even if I don't buy every thing he recommends.

Eg...I have not bought a single lot of VS, Eg, etc...I don't believe in the sustainability of these E E contractors ...pure plywood plays also very tricky....

My biggest exposure to KYY recommendation is Chinwell principally because I like any thing to do with Vietnam..... I like Taiwanese operators...I also like Singaporean companies such as Kesmi....

I have been consistently saying I want to look for Taiwanese and Singpore managed companies in Klse and I like people who invest in Vietnam like latitude., Keinhin, Chinwell.....

apparently, it is 73 sen....you arrive at this by accounting for the interest , the fact the pre IPO shares get nothing and comparing with the sum that is set aside.

There are level 1 and level 2 volume in market.
The one u see might not be the actual one.
If market crash, no one will spare.

a lot of the export stocks are by definition labor intensive...the government has chosen the more popular road by increasing levy on foreign workers.

not very friendly to the entrepreneurs, but extremely popular with voters.

in most countries in similar situations , the government will put all their priority and tax incentives to help exporters gain foreign exchange....not this government.

This is a new phenomenon here in Malaysia.

of course there is another scenario.............

ringgit up, shares down, ringgit down shares down.


a bear market that grips KLSE.
to think in terms of theme play is too simplistic.

the worse thing you can do is to cut loss on theme play and buy new theme play.

up 200%.....but if up 200% for good reasons and still bright outlook, the up shares can go upper still.

exports is not a theme play. It is the only game in town.
So if you don't want to buy in Dec and join the crowd, you can join in and buy when it is down as in now.

Why the only game in town?

A country in financial crisis, currency depreciated...any country, not just Malaysia, ...the only game in town is exports, earning hard currencies, the savoir and hope of the nation.

Since it is the only game in town....wouldn't it be more rewarding and safer to buy now compared to Dec?


and future movements of the ringgit? 50/ 50...maybe this, maybe that.

This is surely the time to buy the stocks that have come down....especially if this is already a filtered list of good strong companies at reasonable valuations.

Of course, those who are bearish will wait to buy lower ( or higher)....that is a perfectly reasonable attitude based on your own evaluations.

But I think this is the only game in town in 2016...it is all about the timing now

nothing makes sense until one truly and 110% understands Sharpe ratios and portfolio theory

the only free lunch is portfolio theory and diversification.

investors read Annual Reports properly.....
invest for years at a time.

there is no need to read Annual Reports when doing contra plays and theme play....just trust your instinct.
