Scientex has a mind of its own. Market up or down , Scientex goes up.

Its always a sign of distress whenever companies have excessive reliance on short term financing. Very risky. Healthier companies just use LC/TR for imports and pays the bills on due date.
From the bankers point of view, banks love to do BA business. In BA business, the banks no need to worry about funding. On day 1, the bank give money to the client and immediately sell the BA into the money market getting back its money. On day 90, the client pays the bank and the bank redeems the BA...the bank acts as a middle man and makes money from the spread

Other than that, it is always refreshing to read about strategy and strategic issues. Brokers reports don't usually cover much strategic issues.

All in all, good effort.
But a company over relying on short term financing is not a safe investment.....too many things can go wrong.

Being practical is the only criteria for me. ...that is why both my children have English tuition from pre kindergarten to Standard 6 and both went to Chinese schools because the rise of China is already clear enough by the late 1990s.

my opinion.........25% free float is still 500m shares. A huge figure.
They are not able to attract the big boys because the industry too cyclical.
Share price is dictated by retail. Retail not interested in such a huge company, have no power to push up the shares. Panic selling and stale bull selling by retail created the chart pattern.

Now that I understand it...I could be interested , but later, not now.

RDS got cash flow problem? End of the world already.

anyway their industry is highly cyclical. They can swing from making huge profits to huge losses. I have known them from 20 to 30 years ago.

$ 100m exchange gains.$ 50m put through PL, $50 put directly through Reserves, PE 8, dividend yield of 8%..........the share was traded between 85sen and 90sen from early Nov to early Jan and then suddenly broke down........who can make sense here?

There are two kinds of LEDs....the pre Shuji Nakamara LED and the post Shuji Nakamara LED. You remember those LED of 10 years ago...those yellow / red lights you see inside cars and in electrical equipment...those are before blue LED is invented. Shuji Nakamara invented blue LED which makes it possible to produce white light. ....white light is the thing takes LED into the world of lightings.
All LED for lighting purposes comes because of the invention of blue LED.............D & O is no exception.

D & O produces headlights for exports to marque brands such as Mercede, VW....
This JHM products only good enough for local consumption...Proton and Perodua that is why no exports.


You cannot even read the article properly.

D & O is many many times the size of JHM....its backside with 1 billion shares is too big for you to play play.
