PisangGoreng, Bro, I don't know how old you are, but your general pattern of behaviour is obviously not consistent with that of a normal, friendly, man-of-peace kind of grown up. It's almost like, well, like you are an angry young man constantly looking for a fight. Yes, that's it, I think. Well, in that case, you will always find yourselves involved in a fight. You keep looking for it, you will often find it. Of course. That is the way it works.

Do you hv many friends in real life? Ummm, I don't really think so. If you are always like this with them, then I don't think most of them will stay friends with you for very long. But I hope you make serious effort to keep improving in this regard, becos otherwise, you're going to be a lonely dude all your life.

You call someone who you don't really know all that well a 'monkey'. Well, how do you expect him to feel, toward you? He will like you? He would like to be friends with you? Think again.

You make them angry, dude. You antagonise them. You alienate them. You turn someone, who was initially a potential friend, into an enemy. So, what will always happen is that, instead of making many friends, you will always end up making many enemies. Is this what you really want?

It cud be the tone of your talk ... You kind of like hv made your mind up about something, or someone, not really wanting to hear out the other dude's POV & bear out with it ... This ability called variously by different names ... Patience, Restraint, Tolerance, are some of them ... It comes naturally to some, but might need a great effort to learn by some others ...

Just for example, I only asked all of you to calm down, because I sensed that things were warming up ... Among most people this wud hv been taken positively in 'bona fide' or good faith, but your response was to demand to know whether I am friend or enemy ...

And you called someone names like 'monkey', and then you apologised ... And even the way you apologised sounded like an order, a demand, rather than a friendly offer ...

It wud hv been more gentlemanly not to call that someone a 'monkey' in the first place, and there wud not hv been need for you to apologise later ...

Unless the way you say it is so obviously good humoured, that other dude is a familiar 'insulting sparring partner', and that the other dude easily understands that you hv made it in good humour, then it's different ... My own strategy is to sell early and buy back later when it rebound if you are still holding. It is like shorting a share...you sell first and cut loss....and you buy back at a lower price when it rebound. If you hold now, it might cut like a knife when it drop sharply....I foresee a lot of panic sellers.

You got a great point there, Bro. Yes, there hv been times, for any stock I guess, when it does happen that you can just feel the panic in the crowd, and the impendinng, imminent downsurge, and there's just no point resisting.

Like that sudden 1mdb-related meltdown, for instance. I had just bought my Nova, for the third or fourth round, @20.5, having made some handsome profits in the rounds preceding, by taking half to one sen gains repeatedly, at high volume.

And then came TM's relentless blitzkrieg on Ah Jib & 1mdb, and everything just started going into a down-spiral. I just held tight until around 15, by which time I cud just feel that it wasn't going to stop there just yet. So I rang up my remisier, intending to sell @15 and buy back lower. And you know what, he was way far away, on the other side of the South China Sea, in Tawau for a vacation wiff his family. Becos he cud not cope wiff da pressure. The hopeless bugger. Just when I needed him the most.

It just pissed me off & freaked me out completely. And I just retreated into a shell for a while, at a complete loss as to what to do. I ended up just holding on, even until it troughed @9.5

I wud hv saved 5 sen if I had sold @15 and bought back @10. But it was not to be. Fortunately, it bottomed at 9.5 and is recovering now, and I'm trying to make some cover-back by some short term range play while at the same time waiting for it to get back up to its previous pre-blitzkrieg level of 20.5
