Mine stock of this decade! Serba has been such a decent company based on reporting but turnout to be a " land mine" in BURSA. Most money earned by investor in  last rally had already gone down the drain, wiping out 60% of capital. That's why it is so hard to earn any money in the long run in BURSA because of these " mine stocks". In the last decade were the rogue counters Transmile which I was a victim .

Key risk of your investment is the quality of vaccine roll out by the 2 contracted manufacturers. If the vaccine quality met the standard set by RDIF, then Ucrest is in a good footing to push for an agreement. It's a good progress so far from previous briefing by Mr. Eg. I think the reward of your investment could be high but must prepare to lose your investment if thing goes wrong. So just invest amount you can afford to lose.

BIMB IB report is very credible and accurate and it help me to make investment decisions on lctitan. Even I am Maybank account user, I think Maybank IB report are superficial and rubbish. I remembered BIMB leads by giving a tp 2.90 when the price hovering rm5 before it went down. I decided to cut Loss at rm4.3 and now the recent BIMB report are very timely and is very accurate on last reported earnings of lctitan. I believe BIMB tp 3.75 is modest and achievable.

Here's something every short selling traders have to take note, try to close the short position by 4:45PM. Reason is because the market will enter into matching time(Pre-closing), if you have not close the position before 4:45 PM, you might not able to buy back your short selling shares by 4:59PM, because after 4:50 PM to 4:59PM is trading at last, all stocks are to be traded at last price.

What If You Failed To Closed The Short Position Within the Day?

If fail to closed the position, you will have to borrow shares from the license shares lender approved by Bursa Malaysia (or transfer from your other CDS account to cover the short position or from your IMMEDIATE family members CDS account only), such borrowings incur charges and interest. Charges (transfer charges of RM 10.60 is fixed charges by Bursa Malaysia) and interest vary from brokers and the agreed price to borrow the said shares are subject to agreed price too, therefore traders have to take note on the charges and make sure it doesn’t affect your profitability. Confirmation of borrowing must be done on 5pm and by 6pm.

However, the borrowing shares are subjected to availability. If your existing broker do not have enough of shares to lend to you, they are required to request from other brokers, but still subject to availability.   

Borrowing shares doesn’t mean that you can continue to keep your short selling position open forever. According to regulation, traders who borrow shares from licensed lender must return the shares back to lender latest on T6 and borrower have to buy back the shares within T6, take note : interest will be charged daily within T6.

This is the reason why you need to sign SBL agreement mentioned above.

InvestorKING, I am a Sapura investor. IDSS sharks has milked dry Sapura counter by now and fully focus on BA counter here. From my observation on IDSS activity in Sapura continuosly for two days. This is my observations:

On first day, IDSS shark throwed two blocks of 20+ M shares to force down 2 pips early morning. Unfortunately for the poor guy, price recovered due to strong buying in the afternoon. IDSS vol. Remained 40+ M shares at market close which indicates no buy back to recover his short position that day. Otherwise IDSS sharks would have suffer great loss.

On the next day, I observed there was a nett buying in IDSS vol. of 6 M shares. That means the IDSS sharks did initiated buy back at higher price and suffer loss. If I am not be misinformed, IDSS rule allowed T+6 to cover short position but subject to penalty. Penalty pay to who is a question mark (?)

From my close examination of IDSS activity on the 2 days, my concluson:

1. IDSS Vol. include buy and sell vol.
2. IDSS sharks can choose not to cover short position same day.

If retailer given same treatment then I have no issue with IDSS trade.

IDSS Sharks sold 0.325/0.330 earlier in the day ans now nibbling at 0.335. That's should be the way to carried out IDSS. For so long SC has not been monitoring this counter because there is no complaint raised.

Spinninglotus, yes you are right IDSS always win becauseIDSS bursa rule says if IDSS sharks cannot cover short position same day by 4.45 pm they can borrow shares from brokers, family members. They are also allow to buy back before T6 to cover short position. Its all clear now why IDSS sharks bought more than they sell yesterday. Very seldom they are caught with pants down unless sudden steep trend reversal. Cheers.

Today IDSS sharks in ARMADA bought 129 M shares to cover short position, surely lost huge money!

Today IDSS sharks bought 22 M and sold 6 M shares giving total IDSS Vol. 28.5 M shares.
IDSS bursa is not as simple as morning sell buy back before 4.45 pm.

IDSS Sharks bought 11 M share at one go. Why?

IDSS shark bought another 3 M shares.

Anyone can explain why IDSS sharks bought 1.2 M early morning???
