The Group has first on 26 June 2020 announced the Proposed Acquisition of PGSB and stated
that the Proposed Acquisition is subject to several condition precedent being obtained/fulfilled or
waived (as the case may be).
Subsequently, the Group has on 27 August 2020 announced the acquisition of two (2) adjoining
parcels of leasehold industrial lands, together with industrial premises in Chemor, Perak
(“Chemor Property”) for a total purchase consideration of RM10.3 million. The Chemor Property
has been identified as a suitable location to be used as the premise to install the glove-dipping
lines and this facilitates the Group’s diversification into the medical gloves business. The
Acquisition of Chemor Property was completed on 23 October 2020.
In view of the termination of the Proposed Acquisition of PGSB, the Group will now move forward
to focus on completing its own glove manufacturing plant at Chemor Property. The 6 new glove-
dipping lines (which were originally planned to be installed at PGSB facility) will now be installed
at Chemor Property and overall, the Group target to install up to 13 new glove-dipping lines at
Chemor Property.
