malaysia's style is play on news flow, I guess it does not matter whether it is third tier or first tier as long as there are money to be made, fund managers tend to avoid counters like hibiscus due to its risk profile, while they prefer more towards stable profile like SONA or even SUMATEC after they are out of PN17, hibiscus needs to put in alot of hard work to deliver the numbers for fund managers to convince themselves or their bosses to buy, so far most of the assets held are intangibles, alot of fund raising will be upcoming, of course it will be exciting, but share price exciting or not is hard to tell

Look at examples like Krisenergy, RH Petrogas, REX , all of them have high target price set by brokers , yet they are trading at 50-60% of their valuation, I guess the market has not matured yet to even accept E&P into their profile, take years man

I rest my case - VALUEMASTER is a SMALL BOY

I would consider the warrants now, looking at 1.30, in fact the price has decrease close to 30%, might be a good opportunity to buy a discounted warrant soon, just wondering why hibiscus did not accept investor's capital and they scrapped the RCPS? because flowerpower is going to invest at RM2 is it?

there are better counters like out there, just look at my recommendation, most of them up 20c above, I don't need to punt hibiscus as I see no catalyst on it now

Anyway back to FP, please ignore this guy, because he did not know how to value a stock/a concession/market cap also don't understand and he play golf during haze (a mentally ill guy? or a liar because he was playing video games?)

I think skylte was saying you gave an assumption as follows:

{10,300,000 barrel of oil x US$25 profit per barrel x RM3.3 x 0566 Shareholding x 10 (PE) } / 1,000,000,000 shares = RM4.80
Assumption:
1. Production 1 year
2. PE = 10 (already very low) - Typical PE 15
If use PE 15 - Price value is RM7.20
FP, just admit you don't know how to value a concession, how can you use PE? as I said, Australia has only 10million proven reserves, where does the 15 x comes from? magic?

1. Let's assume oil price is USD100 per barrel ( although today is much higher) . So value of 100 million barrel as per Hibiscus presentation of oil is worth RM33 billion
2. Net profit typically production after minus all associated cost to bring to surface and sold range from as low of USD25 per barrel and up to USD50 per barrel depending on the region, national interest, taxation, complexity of operations etc. Anyway for conservative measures, using USD25 per barrel as absolute net profit - you have the net profit of the asset at RM8.25 billion. Hope this clarifies and makes sense to you.

And then Fam Jenny you have to read page 9 of the presentation of March 2014. Hibiscus are buying into producing assets. These will 100% owned.

Company is still growing. I think it's best u totally understand the whole presentation or call them to seek advise. I was with them from the begininig.
