Ha! Ha! We are back at it again! Looks like we have a few die-hard contra kaki and panic youngsters here. Thought some even committed NOT to say a word up to end of year (naturally I was very relieved to hear that and had a grin ear to ear !) and yet they continue to pour rubbish. Here are the hard fact:

1. Fact - Hibiscus is a slow company in making any decisions. Proven over and over again. I have been with them from day 1, and I know very well. Many decision have been either delayed ( I mean many!) or differed (but none cancelled). I bet some of you would know this too.

2. Fact - This is a JACK-UP rig. So weather is NOT an issue. For those of you who are not in oil and gas, suggest you go and get down to do some serious reading rather than making a fool of yourselves. Don't try to be a professor of the weather, the sea, the climax, etc this has nothing to do with it. You might as well be a director a deep sea exhibition....

3. Fact - PAID data has said rig is still in INDIA. Free data said the same. PAID data is always reliable, as otherwise YOU CAN SUE them. Also, independent sources confirm the same.

4. Fact: Price of the share has been either sliding down (mostly) or sideways with very little volume over past two weeks. On the contrary, if drilling already started (and announcement made (ahem!)), then we will see some serious activity on this counter either way.

5. Fact - It is a drilling contract with Aban V11. If there is an issue during inspection that requires upgrading or uplift due to safety or HSE requirement, this will take a precedent and the rig will be delayed. There are provisions for this delays stipulated in any drilling contracts. So, there are no alarming bells here. The show still goes on, only at a later time..........

6. Fact - They just made announcement yesterday (Nov 6) to Bursa on raising additional funds up to 10% off paid up. If you are already drilling, why make announcement for fund raising? Not even sure you can do that in the first place.

7. Fact - This is a counter for LONG TERM investment, not for short term speculation.

Whatever said above, MORAL OF STORY - BE PATIENT LAH! If you are a long term investor, why speculate so much, on when drilling, when drilling. Let it happen lah!. Let them strike oil and then you can laugh you way to the bank. If you are an investor and have waited this long, what is next couple off months. Switch off your computer, go for holidays and log on again December 1. Whola!!!

Zamsaham. You finally figured it out! Good on you mate! I am impressed! Too many "smart people" here with many unfounded assumptions. We all want the same thing, that is the share price to go up but we also need the current information. The rig is still in India. Undergoing final inspection. This is the sad story of Hibiscus I must admit............they are a good company with very highly caliber team. But they are veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slooooooooooooooooooooooow at everything they do. Too much meticulous planning, details and technicality. Tooooooooooooooo slow sometimes. Even drilling also delayed for more than 1 year. They have other plans also that I know of got deferred now for couple of months now. Today, they also announced raise another 10% paid up of shares for fund raising (about 56 million new shares to dilute existing shares to be introduced sometime before end of year if all goes to plan). To me this is ok, if they pick up pace but they are too detailed in everything they do and every step takes a long time. Hibiscus is run by TECHNOCRATS and not SAVY BUSINESSMAN. It does take a toll and wind our of any impatient investor. So, bottom line, stay cool, have a kit-kat and sip a coffee, we are already nearing the finish line for the Oman drilling as a start at least, and enjoy the holiday tomorrow!

I said 5 days or so. They have until Nov 15. Anything is possible. But my gut feel is this coming week as they cannot wait for last minute in case any hiccups in the drill bits.

Rig zone is correct- Aban 7 is contractually obligated to be in Oman water now but now it is still off Indian waterlah undergoing final inspection. Drilling distance not so far. Enough said.

My young friend, I am with this counter from the beginning....so I don't have to explain any further. I just ask you to be patience. Wait for 5 days or so for official drilling announcement. Sometimes, things are not as they seem. Ok. Bye

There are no need to get upset and angry. My posting was correct at time of writing. Why not you go and read all their annual and quarterly reports if you are educated enough. In fact they were supposed to be drilling last October 2012. This was deferred. Go and read this on their annual report. And stop misleading people. You are not in the oil and gas. I am and have been for the 30 years. I know about drilling. So please - take a deep breath and relax. Also, there has been lots of deferment in Hibiscus plans becos of fund raising,Strategizing, acquisitions and repositioning. So you take an back seat, sip a coffee, have a kit kat, at enjoy your two cents knowledge of this field.

Just wait for official drilling date announcement: all your bull will come to rest. You will see. NO drilling have started yet!!! Period.

Read the above and it will clearly tell you the contract will commence ANYTIME between October 15 and Nov 15 for 59 days. That means. The can drilling can still start on Nov 15. Hope this so clear now.

Drilling not started yet. Wait for official announcement on actual drilling date. The timeframe of mid Oct to Mid Nov is Typical for any rig contract as a window for mobilization timeframe. Nothing special here. The actual drill dates will be announced soon. Have patience and enjoy the weekend.

It is not in Oman yet. Rig is bound for Oman next. Pending final inspection and approval by authorities over the next couple of days. Rig is berth in India currently.

SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad has agreed to acquire all of Newfield Exploration Company’s equity interests in Newfield Malaysia Holdings for a total cash consideration of US$898 million (RM2.8 billion).

If it see, it is not good as they have yet to start any drilling work although have promised this month and now going on another fund raising champaign. Very ambitious. I would still still to the original plans and take one step at a time and not over gear or over commit or promise or raise expectations of inventors.,you must deliver your first promise first!!!

Heard this week interesting news out....by the way - Cliq has no substance yet, it is so speculative so please be careful. How come the warrant an be 45 cents when the mother only 72 cents? This is a typical goreng and when it falls, the damage will be severe. Please stop comparing Cliq to Hibiscus. Read all Hibiscus announcements carefully. I have yet to see any substance announcement for Cliq.

Not sure what CLIQ game plan is so cannot comment. Anyway, CLIQ has yet to announce its business model and it will take time for them to get all the necessary approval before we san have a view of this counter.
