Updates from Hartalega conf call
Gloves selling prices *expected to fall -30% qoq in Sept*, potentially ~USD40 by Dec 2021.
Customers are *lightening their inventory in view of declining glove prices*.
Expect *lower utilisation rate in next quarter* due to *60% workforce capacity and shutdown during EMCO.*
Constant disruption in operations* (lockdowns, 60% workforce, full shutdown etc) has caused *some customers to shift some orders to China to diversify supply risks*.
Will delay some expansion plans* in view of current unfavourable situation.
90% of workers received first dose of vaccination* so far.
We think there *could be further downside risks should glove selling prices fall below USD30* (what most analysts are factoring in). *More clarity once the glove selling price declines stabilise.*
