The buying price n selling price difference about 7% unless u guys have confidence the gold will up more than 20% in near future to make gains... Most ppl in more advanced countries buying gold coins or gold ETF fund or mining companies but Malaysia doesn’t have profitable gold mining companies yet...

They need to buy gold as RAW MATERIAL TO produce their inventories to sell! Then given such sluggish economy you think ppl will buy elevated cincin price? NO! It's not 1-to-1 ratio raw material-to-sales price, meaning profit margin is LOWER because sales increase cannot keep up with cost of sales!
