Jaks has business in Vietnam and impacted by the Vietnam lockdown last 2 weeks. But today Gov in Vietnam just announced allowed the business to be back. I think Jaks should also benefit from the news. Hope to see the price back to the level before 0.60-0.70 at least for this counter.

Jaks is a recession or lockdown proof stock
the profit from the power plant is guaranteed by the Vietnamese government
the profit is predictable and recurring
A smart businessman will not let this strong financial edge to sit idle
it is a good source of capital for the company future expansion to generate more earning

that is why you see the announcements and the news the company is venturing into solar , hydro and LNG businesses .
this will further strengthen the strong recurring income of the company beside improving its rating in ESG grading .

may be you still do not understand what I am trying to convey to you .

1. I must be responsible for my own hard earned money. I must provide a reasonable length of time for it to work for me

2. power plant income is predictable .
under such circumstance DCF valuation is the best and the most appropriate methodology to derive the fair value of the company .
DK , who is an accountant and also an expert in power had done or us .
we know Jaks domestic business is losing money and it will drag on for sometime due to covid lockdown . so in his calculation of NPV he included a 5 years provision of RM 30M per year for the domestic loss and derived at a value of RM1.50

Now the lockdown is removed
more than 80% of the people are vaccinated

1. The power plant is real and had already started operation . From today onwards you will see Jaks will never report a negative income any more .

3. Disposal or bringing to a halt of the loss making domestic business is ongoing.
any good news , anytime from now or after the lock down recovery , will serve as a strong catalyst to push the shares price sky high

Aren't these not good enough reasons to boost my confident . And this confidence is not built on sand but supported by valid reasons.

shares trading is a game of confidence .but the confidence must be derived from facts and data

why the price is not moving in tandem with the strong consistent earning of the power plant and the good company prospect diversifying into the more environmental friendly venture which will further strengthening their strong recurring income ?

reasons :

1. not enough management guidance
but with the recent announcement of the company latest development and clarification of the rising coal price has no impact on the company profit margin , the whole scenario had changed totally from a passive mode of play to a more proactive one


2. The retailers are less informed and misinformed .

the recent active participation of the members from DK private chat group had done a good job here . The knowledge and the research report of DK they shared had successful opened the eyes of many genuine value investors here.

their kind effort had successfully bringing all the right thinking retailer back to the right path
and we see a dramatic switch of the price movement from a net selling to a net buying today

what have we learnt ?

common sense can cheat us but fact and data will not
as long as we know what we are doing ,
the reasons we are doing it are based on fact and data
and we are not lazy to verify our knowledge with the management
we have no fear of the short selling
we can wait and believe where we are waiting is the right direction .
we will be handsomely rewarded because of the strong faith in our belief.

these few days we see the tussle between the retailers and the short seller

the increasing volume of short selling had broken the strong support at 0.46

but fail to depress the price further and today we see the price had recovered back to 0.47 and higher

why Jaks was chosen the target of short selling ?

because the short seller believe their major opponent is the retailer

where are the bankers or the big boys ?

due to lack management guidance ,

the banker or fund operators are still waiting for further information to confirm the earning of the power plant

the rising coal price is a good example to prove many who use their common sense to argue wrong

most retailers think , the BOD can pay themselves whatever salary they like .

this is true unless the minority shareholder , the Securities Commission are deaf and blind .

you may disagree but you are contradicting yourselves because you are still heavily invested in the land you said it is hopeless

there is a chines saying 工字不出头 （your salary and allowance will never make you rich )
do you believe the substantial shareholders of a company will be the richest in the world if their shares price remains at the bottom

IPO is the Biggest fun raising . if all fund raising are bad , will you have any listed company to invest ?

many retailers are misinformed or misled to believe that the management is only interested to enrich themselves through ESSOS or fat salaries .

When our exit target price 1.5 is achieved or 2 years for our hard earned money to work ,whichever come first . JAKS up or down or whatever is none of our business .
