raphael...this news was splashed out in the newspaper yesterday. In fact, EPF had continued mega sale on subsequently day too. Since the market appeared toppish recently, i.e near the 1597 levels, EPF took profits and sold down.
There is anticipation they will pump into the market (to push the market up) closer to election, hence to initiate the so called "pre election rally".

Markets have their UPs and DOWNs...when KHSB dancing around the mid 60 sen levels, many of us also follow and dance...now when KHSB limping around the mid 50 sen levels, we also limp along-lah.

Don't overly gungho that next week KHSB/Puncak will fly...Greece technically defaulted and DJIA was up but nothing great there. There might still be lethargy in the market (at least early part of the week), bit more consolidation (accumulation for the smart ones) before a push upwards to test the 1597 levels again.

Drifting quietly lower to weed out the weak players...then sudden burst of volume and whack the price up...

This counter is flirting around the 1.4 price band for last few days...consolidating, which may actually be a good thing. If it can maintain around these levels for another week of so, perhaps it cud subsequently bounce up again. Also, need to watch the play on KHSB which is following similar price pattern.

Overall, even though Bursa seems to be "holding", there seems to be a lack of momentum to push most individual counters higher. This cud be due to nervousness amongst market players as index nears the 1597 points hurdle.
