Supernova how can you compare Almera with Mazda which is eons away?

BT50 is the worse looking pickup ever. The older Mazda's based on the Nagare concept is also pretty ugly. (Read: Mazda 3 MPS, 2009 Mazda 3, Mazda 2s)

But the new ones: Mazda 2, Mazda 3, Mazda 6 based on the Kodo design concept is fantastic. CX-5 has a crazy resale value of RM120k for a 2 year old car (New: RM155k).

The new CX-3 will destroy the likes of all SAVs/mini-SUVs. (Read: Honda HRV). And don't bring in the Koreans. They are no where close the brand prestige of Japanese cars and nowhere near in quality.

Of course, the Japs are one tier below the Europeans on luxury but I strongly believe it is due to the lack of necessity as they can make one fine luxury car (Read: Mitsuoka) but the Japanese culture believes in efficiency, effectiveness and moderate styling. Kudos to Mazda - it had a tough few years in the past but now is truly shining.

Let's hope BJAUTO has the capability to make sure the brand shines. After all a brand's performance in a country with regards to the automotive sector doesn't solely depend on the product but also the packaging, service and promotions they run.

So far, it has been OK but there is definitely room for improvement. Zoom-zoom!

The Mazda brand is one of the strongest growth in the industry. BJAUTO is leading the brand in Malaysia and with newer and more attractive models coming (Read: Mazda CX-3) - I can only see the brand going up.

If you are looking for a quick kill, stay away. If you are looking for a solid company to invest in, look no further.

jtpc2006 - Agreed. I predict MH17 to have minimal impact on MAS shares. The loss of human lives cannot be reversed and is a travesty but we have to now more importantly bring those responsible to justice.

Kian Leong - I disagree with your argument above. As the biggest critic of the Government and GLCs, I can say without a doubt that MH370 is a shit storm caused by information blackout from certain parties.

However, MH17 is yet to be found guilty on MAS part. I strongly believe that they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. This presents an opportunity for risk takers to participate and buy up the panic sold MAS shares.

I do not think any person, let alone company would want to endanger human lives. And as ICAO and IATA clarified, the route was declared safe for passage and there would not be any incident if the plane had stayed its course. Then again, we do not know at the moment whether did the plane divert from its planned course causing the triggering of the Ground-to-Air missile.

Before any concrete information is disseminated, let's all be like a sponge - absorb more info until you have enough to go around.

INARI-CA, a good buy?

At time of publication, INARI-CA hovers at a price point of RM0.265. The European styled call warrant was listed yesterday (8 JULY 14) at a list price of RM0.15. As expected, it went up and closed at RM0.270.

But is it still a good buy? Let’s take a look at these simple calculations:

1. A common example is another popular call warrant, DSONIC-CA. At present point, the price is at RM0.30 and conversion rate is 3:1 at a strike price of RM1.86. Given the conversion rate and strike price, we can work out that an effective unit of DSONIC stock is valued at RM2.76 in the future. Compare that to the current price of RM1.95 for DSONIC stock, it represents a premium of 41.5%.
2. As for INARI-CA, the price for a call warrant is now RM0.265 with a conversion rate of 4:1 and the strike price of RM3. Once the math is out, we can see that an effective unit of INARI stock is valued at RM4.06 in the future, which represents a premium of 24.5%.

That gives us 2 situations:

1. The INARI-CA is undervalued, and is a solid BUY. It is not an apple to apple comparison but take DSONIC and INARI and put them together, the INARI-CA becomes an easy decision for a BUY call.
2. The INARI stock is valued to grow by 24.5% by 2015 where the call warrant will then expire and conversion is evoked. That represents a BUY call on both the INARI-CA, as well as INARI stock.

All in all. We conclude that the INARI stock and its derivatives are good buy and give a solid BUY call for all INARI stocks.

This concludes our analysis.
