They should quickly settle out of court. This really isn't the time for Malaysian companies to be fighting each other with the way the economy is going. Make peace, not war

aiyo, please stop arguing and attacking each other. Thank you both sardin81 and opensans for sharing your opinions and insights to the stock.
End of the day, we are all here to make money based on our OWN decisions. So whoever who buys based on just hearsay without doing your own vetting and research, you can only blame yourself at the end of the day if things go south.

I wonder if Mabel is still holding this stock? Long time no hear

Agreed @taloha. The time to run was during the whole suspension, pn17, lost of white knight etc. Barakah managed to survive through that period and now has 3 consecutive positive quarter reporting. Hold on to your seats and be patient, i believe things will move upward soon

seems like quite a few big shareholders are dealing with the shares. Anyone have any insight or hints to what's up?

As i shared some time back, I first entered at 0.89 cents and continued to average down as the price plunged. Sold off with decent profits during the last price jump to 8 cents. Now re-entered and getting ready for 2nd round. It's all about timing now

already 3 consecutive green quarter results, now pending their update on completion of financial regularisation scheme to fully exit pn17

@calvintaneng where'd you read/hear that scomies is suing Scomi mother?

Remember, turning profit is just step 1. Step 2 is announcement on Petronas case. Given the political and economic concerns, Petronas should do the right thing and settle with Barakah outside court, retract the blacklisting, it's a win-win for both Malaysian companies.

Instead of going up, it's now dropped to 0.02.
We gotta have patience. Political instability + oil price instability + covid-19 = even if Barakah, or heck, most counters make profit, the price isn't going to move upward very much. Too much fear of the unknown.
Remember though, when the market is scared, come armed with knowledge, it's like discovering gold!

people taking profit.. all scared of covid-19. If you believe in this counter and have done your research, now is the best time to collect while cheap

@TAK1 haha maybe you should suggest that to them!

@chimchim Yes, I wonder why Scomies does not mention some sort of projected value or revenue to the deals. I understand 1st deal is just to formalise ongoing r&d of o&g chemical solutions which commenced since 2016. But the 2nd is for commercialization of a high performance water-based mud additive which they should have some projected revenue for it.

@Godofgambler I like your enthusiasm but i don't think these announcements count as positive news, it's more of documentation under Bursa listing requirements.
Both dated 3 Feb 2020
i) No major development to the status of default in payment of the loan facility.
ii) The Board of Directors wishes to inform that the Company is in the midst of formulating a plan to regularise its financial conditions (“Regularisation Plan”). The Company has approximately three (3) months to submit its Regularisation Plan to the relevant authorities for approval.
I am looking forward to announcement regarding response from Petronas - hopefully this will be positive!

Besides @Mabels' list, another positive to me for Barakah to get out of PN17, just my 2cents, is that we (market) has clear visibility that Barakah is actively working on improving their financials and business prospects.
Unlike e.g. Perisai who were pretty much silent the whole time and only action was to keep asking for extensions with no clear business restructure plan.

There's no change in knm's fundamentals, only change is overall market sentiment. This a good time to observe and start fishing for low prices!
Besides, if you know and have been here since sardine81, you would still not be making a loss at this price. I'm sure sardine81 is m.i.a from here from being sick of convincing weak holders that knm is a goldmine haha

In fact, there was a follow-up to the suit on 20th Jan demanding Petronas to pay up RM118k+ out of the RM477k+ since it's viewed as debt without legal dispute.

If you don't believe in the counter, it's really really easy: Just sell whatever you have, exit the browser and leave.
No need to come here to curse and leave unintelligent comments. Imagine what can be achieved if everyone can behave a little more maturely, exchange or share legit information or opinions and have intelligent debates.. after all, we're all here with the intention to make money even if it's not the same investment method since there are so many ways to do it!

@Mabel I like your response, salute you for it. I say this in a non-finger-pointing way to any i3 user in particular: I don't understand till today why people bother to take time out of their lives to come here and throw around profanity, negativity and non-productive statements. Ever heard of such a thing as karma? When you curse and mislead people, it will bound to return to you in one way or another, be it financially or another aspect

PNB has a lot to lose if Sap continues the way it is. I just hope the PNB ceo placed in Sap will actually do something fast & drastic to steer away from raja shahril's current trajectory - high revenue but still lost making.
Talking about PNB buying into Barakah... one can only hope. If they buy in, for sure that the whole Petronas fiasco will be settled! After all, PNB needs their investments to start performing or heads will soon roll

From what I've gathered so far:
1) we can see that price rose rapidly from 0.11 to 0.40,
2) General Lee & family are fighting to stay on control of Knm,
3) General Lee & family been in heavy buying mode,
It seems the low price serves 2 functions, flush out weak holders and collect more at low price, and make sure no incentive to convert warrant. Also, don't forget that unfortunately Malaysia political instability doesn't encourage foreign investors.
I think most of us average price should be low-ish (especially if you know who Sardine81 is). So if can, better to hold and observe what unfolds.

@youarewelcome88 I like your passion and energy. Indeed, hope to teach Petronas to not bully smaller players. Petronas should be encouraging local businesses to spur our local economy

This announcement is good public exposure. Shows that Barakah is actively fighting the unfair treatment from Petronas. This move will pressure Petronas to respond and hopefully settle. Stay tuned!

I believe Barakah will come back. It's just a matter of when. They've been transparent and facing their current situation and woes head-on since day 1. Once Petronas case is resolved with Zaid, sure to rebound and make it even more attractive for white knights to come!

@Mabel - i believe it's IB unloading his shares due to margin call. And yes, his holding will be lower and shares taken by retailers. So in theory, there are indeed buyers taking up Nik's shares. However, since there is constant selling like this, really hard for Barakah share price to go up, though definitely can see there's very strong support at 0.03. Am looking to collect some to further average down
