KLCI is down 9.31 points as of now. 553 counters are down. But my Public Bank is still up 2 sen and Maybank is up 1 sen. I really feel proud of them.

No need to promote one. The funds will know what to do and my interest is just aligned to theirs.

While remaining proud, I also guard against on how the rise of the Delta variant could likely affect their business profitability. I do not want to get carried away at the same time.

If we just look at the price movements of glove counters this morning, Rubberex seems more resilient than the other glove counters:

Comfort -4.3%
Careplus -4.1%
Rubberex -3.0%

What does this price movement suggest? It seems to say that Rubberex share price is less affected by Hartalega CEO's report. Why is that so? I believe this is because Rubberex has already priced in more of the expected share price drop from its almost continuous fall in the share price movements earlier over the past trading days/weeks.

It would also mean that the earlier price drop of Rubberex could have been caused by some deliberate bad-mouthing of the stock, hence resulting in a higher than normal price drop.

I am sure Rubberex management would be most interested to take the culprits to task.

(NB: My analysis above is solely on share price movements)

Even smyang11's idol Foker also wants to stay away now and does not want to get implicated by his untrue and absurd branding of Rubberex as a PN17 company!!!

Why smyang11 never thinks before he speaks!!!

I do not want to waste time to repeat here any more. Let Rubberex management's counsel questions you in court to assess your actual wrongdoing!!!

The case may run something like this:
The defamation event took place on 30 Aug 21 at i3 forum. Its share price closed at RM 0.785 that day, market cap was worth RM 652,214,150. As at today's closing of RM 0.675, market cap was reduced to RM 560,821,084, representing a loss of RM 91.393m

The prosecution will establish in court the ground on which to claim the consequent losses from the defendant on the amount of losses actually incurred as a result of this defamation.

The company has up to 6 years from date of occurrence to submit this claim in court.

Foker_the_2nd Price undercutting is what the China manufacturers are doing right now. What Hartalega CEO is consistent with this narrative. The ASP is dropping even with Delta. So Hartalega forecasted that ASP will normalise by 2022 Q1 which is only 2 quarters away, it indicates Hartalega will also cut its prices aggressively to counter the China glovemakers. This is not the right strategy. But it can achieve two things. They can make new glovemakers stay away or exit because ASP is no longer favourable. They can also block the China glovemakers from stealing market share. But this is not good. It hurt shareholder profits and it is not effective. That's why they should consult me.
