This is something KKY was not expecting. He was surprise rhb and maybank would cap margin financing but now Ambank Uob and Cimb too. This is the black swan factor. Not within any investors control.

The problem with margin caps is that they should give a one week notice before it takes effect. Announce after 5pm and takes effect the next day. Bursa should do something about this. Just imagine now 3 banks announced yesterday and now they are forced to trim their gloves holdings. As for Ambank they value careplus at 36 cents before allowed margin financing again. That simply means a sell down. It is wrong for IBs to hide such information and if they do announce margin cap should be given one week period before it happens.

Don't forget those that bought at Rm4 and rm3. 75 and rm3. 50 and rm3. 20 are all trapped. They will be waiting to sell. Rm750 million was bought during those prices in the past 2 days. They will be force to pay up or sell off today and tomorrow. Think for yourself.
