You didnt get my point. Didn't i say dangerous political manuoerving with the company?
Yes. Dr Neoh Soon Kean of Dynaquest, a great expert in investment. written a highly successful book titled "stock market investment" in 1986. a book that i have his autograph. Anyway, how u decide that Dr Neoh is 3 times wiser than Mr Tan?

Did you ask him why "resigned"? Which company he goes?
Share with all of us la. I know you know
2013-12-05 13:28 | Report Abuse
Good. Can share how many years u intend to stay invested with the company?
By the way, "as long as PMC is managed professional" is a very serious words. Can they? Can they explain why cfo "resigned" at the last minute? Cfo is someone deal with financial, another word is money, true? Cfo is professional position and the person has a license governed under a professional body. Once u lost your professional license due to integrity issue, there goes his or her livelihood. On the other hand, directorship is not a professional position.

Warren Buffet monopoly the market la. That's why he did what he did. Can PMC do that? Maybe, but naa, PMC will sell the business to Warren when catches his attention. Then, another cash in hand for cash payout.
Perhaps, this is a new trend to make money for small investors.
2013-12-05 12:23 | Report Abuse
so you are for short term or long term? I don't get you honestly.
2013-12-05 12:12 | Report Abuse
ok. now, chocolates business is not great business, but ok. honestly, I have not study the numbers in this industry and their business model. Anyway, investing in a company, not only look at their business model alone. Have to look round what kind of people at the side, back and front. Also, must give some thought why certain things happened when it shouldn't especially at critical time. Case in point, Ho chai case.
On your question if IOI Lee is the owner of PMC, there is a better chance the business will prosper for long term. Nothing is guarantee, though. But if the business prospers, he will make sure it stays that way. Not to sell and then cash payout.
2013-12-05 11:55 | Report Abuse
Unlimited opportunities? Don't cement business back then is good business? Once you distrust on how the person do business, it is very difficult to restore. The same person still own the company, don't he?
2013-12-05 11:51 | Report Abuse
Yes. I am long term investor but not on this stupid company. Yes, I like IOI. I have hold since 2002. You just have to admire how Lee do business. Why I talk to you because I believe u want to understand more of PMC. No long term with this company, pls. Play play contra contra ok la. just for fun. who don't.

tsurukame,
by the way, in case you don't know. many years back then before i3forum sudah ada, there was this stock.com forum. Same song was sang and praising high and low when the company proposed cash payout. What happen after all these years until now? isn't it suppose the son helps papa thingy should have settled things. The price come to this 0.24 level is not for no reason.
2013-12-05 11:36 | Report Abuse
tsurukame,
No la. I am not here because I see potential. die lo if need here to confirm my "i see potential". I am here to see what the retails are talking. Then I report to Uncle. u believe?
2013-12-05 11:11 | Report Abuse
tsurukame,
Yeah, so let the son help papa whenever papa call for cash cow son. At the same time, those invest in the son will get crumbs from the cash payout. Everyone happy. I like your perspective, dude.

Business model, mission statement are all in their annual report, dude. Wonderfully spelt out.
For contra player, no need to care so much on this. Have fun and play along.
For long term investor, you should ask this questions:-
1) Why the owner of the company don't care much of their share price which has been depressed for so long? Go ask IOI Lee. Lee will be mad hopping even if his IOI Corp's price drop 50cents. He take pride and ego for his company share price.
2) If Uncle Khoo really holding 80% of company share, don't he wantvthe price to be higher like 2.40 instead of miserable 0.24? No need go far. If you are the owner of the company, and u have chain of hotels and assets, u certain want to use to the max advantage to help the share price.
3) Why penchant for cash payout when can use it to make the balance sheet better and thus support the share price higher?
2013-12-05 10:29 | Report Abuse
Already breached 0.24, quickly buy.
If it come down to 0.20, quickly buy also. it is cheap sales

EGM. What a joke. From sacking to resignation. Initially want to sack them because the directors don't want to budge. Now, the two directors agreed to resign! why all the trouble.

the issue is not about who to cover who. the issue is why "resigned" ? is it because of integrity issue that ho chai not prepared to compromise?

did he do that - sell the hotel? ofcourse no, right. why didnt he do that to clean up the massive debt?
with a flip of a finger, he can move the share price whichever way he wants? u want to out beat him, think again. how many millions you have to play with him? i use the word "you" doesn't mean you but refer to on-the-street players.

I suspect the price will retrace back to the level prior to the day the company annouced that there will be capital repayment. The modus operandi is quite the same. First, verbally tell u but nothing concrete on paper. Let the market play up the share. Then change personality in the company. Then postpone the announcement to another date. Let the market keeps on guessing.
No free lunch one la
