The Group posted a lower revenue in the current quarter of RM7,493,806 as
compared to the preceding quarter ended 30 April 2017 of RM8,763,343,
representing decrease of RM1,269,537. The decrease in sales was mainly due to the
product mix where more tray machines, which fetched higher selling prices, were
sold during previous quarter versus current quarter.
As a result of lower revenue, the Group posted a profit before taxation of
RM1,655,902 as compared to profit before taxation of RM1,975,216 in the preceding
quarter ended 30 April 2017.


Based on the statement, it is easy to understand more sales contribute to previous quarter. Overall YOY net profit still have 96% improvement. It is continuous improvement.


13. Commentary on Material Change in Statement of Financial Position
(i) Higher inventory as at 31 July 2017, RM14.5 million as compared to RM10.1
million as at 31 October 2016, due to potential sales of the Company.

(ii) Increase in trade receivables from RM4.7 million as at 31 October 2016 to
RM12.3 million as at 31 July 2017 in line with the increase in sales. There was
subsequent receipts from customers amounted to RM4 million. No impairment is
needed as these amounts are recoverable from customers based on their
financial standings.
(iii) Trade payables increased from RM1.3 million to RM3.1 million and Borrowings
of Bankers Acceptances increased from RM2.6 million to RM4.0 million, as at 31
October 2016 as compared to 31 July 2017, mainly due to the purchases of
materials to build up machines for customers.

Summary, if company do not confident with the current market, do they dare to increase inventory capacity, trade receivables, trade payable and borrowings of bankers acceptances? Put company in danger position?

15. Commentary on the Prospects
In view of the positive outlook in the semiconductor industry and also the improved
financial performance year to date, the Board is confident to deliver a better
performance in this financial year 2017.

Based on No.15, foresee management is confident to deliver a better performance in this financial year 2017.
By giving bonus issue, warrant and ESOS (not good for shareholders), company has strong determination to ensure company to better return in 2017 and 2018. Don't forget management optimistic 3% in 2017 and 2% in 2018.

ROI has a 22.96% and PE only 23. For tech stock, it is still have 10% to grow. Test resistance on 1.4.

"I don't care about inventory turnaround times - as long as management is claiming there is shortage of materials + extended plant shutdowns for scheduled maintenance, BUT at the same time there is an inventory build-up...it is never a good sign. Management are not liars or dishonest...they just have no reason to give you all the fine details. As an investor you find this yourself."

Please go find more information yourself. I not convenient to share it here, there are more professional sifu than me here.

Dont take Coldeye as example as his fund is huge and his investment style definitely different compare yours. Coldeye got extra money to let him keep 2-3 years. How many counters Coldeye hold in top 30? His funds can easily move a stock, he has to buy when no ppl buying/interest to keep share price in low.

But how about you? Our fund is limited and you should earn it wisely. I can go to others stock earn one round and come back join you after 1.5 years later. I still sufficiently time to join the ride. Not even include that may market crash to grab lower price. You also wont know when the market crash.

1) How do you prepare for shortage due to flood? You conduct a ceremony and ask the GOD before flood?
2) As mentioned, Hari Raya shut down is "scheduled", why you said it is not planned or arranged properly? Same to maintenance, that is "scheduled". Machines all need maintenance.

3) I dont know who else promoted Evergreen on blog or FB live.. but let me ask u: ColdEye (Fong Siling) asked investors a question: can you hold a good and undervalued share for 3 years until it finally realizes its value? So you are saying ColdEye is stupid? Your way of "investing" sounds more like speculating to me... nothing wrong with speculation if you bet it right... that is your choice... I am fine to hold on to 1-2 years for >200 to 300% return..

Agreed with Nikicheong, as view from management side, if you are the management, you should arrange it carefully during shortage of materials, hari raya session & extended plant shutdowns for scheduled maintenance.

They have to look for other solutions to maintain revenue and planning ahead to overcome it. It seem like management not aggressive to their company.

On the blogger + FB live to give the explanation, it seem to its side to evergreen than provide natural advise (maybe he is buying a lot, who knows). It is dangerous when listen to someone to buy a stock and wait 1-2 years.

Downtrend stock should be avoid. If you wait another 1-2 years, for me better look for other potential stock and keep.

YingChai, I encourage you to spend time to understand on MBSB. Merger or not also not important for me, it is just a bonus. Once the impairment loss is done, MBSB will resume the revenue and dividen payout potential.

FA view, Let compare this year, even there is impairment loss in each quarter require to be settled, it is still achieve good net profit and able to give you 2% dividend. And impairment loss will completed in 2017, if it able to resume to 2015 performance, it is easily to get 10 cents. At least 7.9% dividen payout based on 1.26 today. What you want again?

Another add on bonus, EPF are clever than us and wont let itself make loss money. Base on the share holding by EPF in MBSB, if MBSB cannot make money, why they still invest as much as 65.28%? How EPF going pay you epf almost 6% dividen each year to all Malaysian citizen if MBSB cannot make money?

From my view, I believe the merger can be done. I just wait patiently on it. Time will tell me correct or not. If MBSB can get the Islamic Bank license, the future is uncountable. You will never have chance to collect it anymore.

TA view, potential downside is limited (-20%) and potential upside can more than 40% based on conservative 1.80. it is now at consolidation state. Oversold condition.

Totally agreed on Farge168 and Specter, this counter is my first counter and I hold more than 21 months, it give me nearly 60% return with dividen received. Quite satisfy with its performance and management decision making. Believe I can get 100% for this counter within 3 years. Even I am a peanut in share market compare to those pro^^

Dont apply TA on this counter la. It brings you to holland faster. Believe that short term, FIFO retainers and fund run till almost end. Cone quite a lot ppl when see the price up and down last few months, good news are around the corner. Please wait patiently.
