So, something wrong had indeed taken place right under our noses. Indeed, was anyone from Malaysia involved? Obviously not, from the way Umno and their supporters are behaving.
This is, after all, all the fault of outsiders.

It is public knowledge that the Pakatan Harapan government and Tommy Thomas initiated the recovery process immediately after he was appointed as the attorney-general (AG) in 2018.
In such negotiations, the fight, in the beginning, is the toughest to establish our legal legitimacy as Goldman Sachs will not so easily agree to pay the money.
So, it will only be fair for Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin to also give credit to Harapan and Thomas where it is due, aside from his long list of current Perikatan Nasional (PN) officials.
Constitutional Supremacy: the char ges were filed by Thomas. He thus deserves a salute for a job well done.
The present AG withd rew 46 charges against former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman, totalling almost half a billion ringgit, and the reason was difficulty in proving the charges as the documents are overseas.

Was Najib's participation necessary? Najib is not a cabinet member, just an MP who is facing criminal charges and whose trial had taken many months. Justice should not be delayed just to have an MP in Parliament.
If an MP keeps using his attendance in Parliament and asking to be excused from attending court or attending for only half-day, imagine how long the trial would take?
Obviously, the speaker had not considered this factor properly and it was no excuse for him to state that he merely asked the court. What is happening to our country?

Alah, This is a real indicator of an election coming pretty soon. Umno is laying the PR work for the bumiputeras with another bumiputera-centric programme, in addition to dozens of others already in existence.
This new Bumiputera Prosperity Council (BPC), whatever it is, will be another platform for bumiputeras to get contracts on government projects and adds another plus point for bumiputera contractors to vote for them.
This is a game plan of Umno to get votes. Watch out for the announcement on the next general election.

Bring back the PH govt and let Tun Mahathir be the Education Minister. Forget about the stupid manifesto.
Tun is the only one who can right this education mess. He would have cut the period for religious studies and re-introduce English for maths and science.
The people running DBP ought to be changed for their closeted views. They only know Bahasa Melayu, which I guess is OK since they are supposed to be the guardian of the language. But please refrain from commenting on educational policies.

Education is like a football. It can be kicked however you like. No wonder the education standard, especially in science, mathematics, technology and English, is so far behind other countries.
Malaysia will continue to fall behind if it treats education like a political football. Its mastery of English was once among the best but now, college graduates can’t even speak properly.
How can Malaysia compete on the world stage? There must be consistency, no matter which party is in charge of the government.
