The company's "real" revenue only comes in, in 3Q and 4Q due to the cycle of the academic year.
In April this year, their roadshow in Indonesia, 88 schools have already expressed interest to sign up their program.

Fx_lee. You are considered one of the few privilege one. As long as eduspec is in good hands, good enough. :)

pathew> To enlighten you abit.
ILB market cap is RM154 million
Total equity or NTA(after minus minority) is RM317 million
Total cash in hand (net of debt) is RM175 million
If you wish to compare in "per share" basis... just divide the above with 178 million shares.
On daily chart, I see cup and handle breakout with immediate target at 88.5c.

Lz Lee Weiping> When a dividend is declared especially in % terms... they do not refer to % of profit made. It is % of the par value, i.e RM1.00
As this is a special dividend, adjustment needs to be made on the chart.

I see cup and handle pattern for ILB today. Supported by breakout with increase vol.

If you buy big quantity (which I refer to more than 5% of average daily volume), you can't afford to wait for the big volume to come and then react. Like matrixcool said - $1.00 is violated "with volume". You are categorised as one of the guys who has the volume to violate $1.00.

I'd like to add abit on Menang and the 1.00 psychology level. I mentioned earlier that one is not encouraged to trade more than 5% of daily volume. Reason being is that, when a support level is broken, it can drop very fast. If you hold big quantity there is no way that you can exit all at 1.00 or even 99.5c.

I'd like to add abit to Ramsyll's question no.2
It all depends the size of your portfolio. As we are talking about trading, the duration of holding the stock is quite short hence you want to make sure you can get out whenever you want.
For me, I set a limit of trading not more than 5% of average daily volume. Let's say if a counter's volume is 1m shares a day, then the maximum quantity I can buy is no more than 50k shares.
You shouldn't restrict yourself to 20% for each trade as different trade has different risk and volatility. It all goes back to your risk-reward plan.

Congratulations to matrix and gang on launching TCB. Just got back from long holiday. Most counters still at the same level as 2 weeks ago, except that KLCI has moved up quite a fair bit albeit with negative divergence with MACD. Doubt market will be any exciting in June due to world cup coming. Expect selldown as people cash out to bet football.

I think Picorp had a double bottom breakout yesterday. The 30c resistance has now turned into a support. Immediate target at 34.5c.

"INARI—Stage 2 of the cycle and very Bullish, try its peak of $2.91 on 14/05 but failed to clear to explore the uncharted territory. It is consolidating after recent upward movement and any weakness should find immediate support at $2.74/$2.67. Very strong support at $2.56 and any weakness offer opportunity to collect for future play. Exit if $2.55 is violated. "
Matrixcool> Mind to share how did you derive S1 and S2 of 2.74 and 2.67? I see a potential double top forming at 2.91, however a double top is only valid and confirmed if 2.56 is violated.

ProfitMan> Yes I think currently in the market, only CIMB has a downloadable trading/chart software which comes with a monthly subscription fee. The rest of the broking firms only offer web-based trading platform. Correct me if I am wrong, as I may not have come across all the broking firms in M'sia.

wtclau> For a start you can go to chart school at www.stockcharts.com to learn more about the patterns and the basics. If you want to get a book, can consider "Technical Analysis Explained - the successful investor's guide to spotting investment trends and turning points" by Martin J. Pring

I am using Cimb's TCPRO and esignal. Both offer live chart. If you have more than 1 screen, you can set one screen display chart and the other display top volume / gainer / favourite list, and as you scroll down the list of stocks the chart changes as well.

To encourage people to learn TA, I suggest we use this platform to exchange ideas on our studies on certain charts and then allow the seniors to comment or correct the findings, instead of asking straight out for answers.

Better to look at charts then to listen to rumours. Market movement is not determined by 1 or 2 person/group who can simply push.
Besides, World Cup season is coming, not to forget puasa month to begin next month. Based on historical trends market are usually quiet during these events, furthermore this year, these 2 events happen at the same time.

Matrix, I agree with you on MUDA, set to resume its momentum.
By the way, how do you handle your money management? Let's say if you have RM100k, how much would you allocate per trade? And in general how much % profit would you target for? Do you set a time-stop if the stock doesn't move like after a month or so?

Matrix,
MINHO on daily chart there's been a cup handle breakout. On WEEKLY chart it has also had a cup handle breakout.

Thanks Matrix. This is a good platform where all TA people speak same jargon language.
Good that you also hold MINHO. I bought MINHO last week, cost at 1.18. I see cup handle pattern. I am looking at 1.40.

Greetings to all senior forumers and fellow TA traders. I frequent this website often to check out the research reports but not so much on the blog/forum. This thread started by Matrixcool caught my attention hence decided to register and participate.
I personally prefer to trade stocks above RM1 as I prefer to trade stocks with institution participation. Looking forward to learn and exchange TA ideas from everyone here. Cheers.
